"So nice and cozy, a gem. I had no idea how nice my room would be. Breakfast could be better if it had fresh scrambled eggs and potatoes and or more healthy options. The beautiful cozy lobby with 24 hour coffee and tea and iced tea was delightful. They really need to remove the alarm clocks from the room (ours went off at 6am) and they should get tvs that let you stream from your streaming services."

"The hotel was beautifully maintained. The historical aspect was so interesting. The room was comfortable. Parking was great and the hotel was located right downtown and easily accessibnle to shopping, restaurants and walks. We ate at the pub the first night and the food and service was very good."

"I gave this 5 stars because the water and dock themselves makes this place worth it but my toilet bowl was not connected to the ground so it was extremely unstable and the outside of it was covered in pee. The rooms and beds were clean but the sheets were too small and kept pulling off the corners. The sink was clogged and took 35 minutes to drain everytime. In the mornings all we heard were slamming doors and kids running and screaming so the soundproofing is not good. BUT for $90-$100 a night it’s still very good. Like I said the view and fishing was awesome. But it definitely needs some more TLC."

"Loved the pool. The room was clean and comfortable. Skipped breakfast, slept in. The staff locked my bike in a conference room overnight during our stay which I appreciated! We were on our way home after visiting Mackinac Island."

"There really is no place to eat breakfast. We took it back to the room which is suggested. The breakfast was adaquate but not wonderful. Bed and pillows were very comfy!"
