"Whoever did the interior of the room we stayed in (1BR) was a genius. The materials, the design, the attention to detail - amazing. The staff members were great and kind. The English instructions on written things were easy to understand. I recommmed the resort side view - our giant floor to ceiling window on the third floor was all green with vegetation."

"Very nice hotel! Comfortable rooms that are very clean. The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were excellent and well worth the add on fee. The onsen is nice but a bit small and they should leave the onsen open till 10 am in the morning so you can get breaky they take a last soak before 11 am checkout. Stayed in summer so the rates were very reasonable. They had construction going but the improved rooms were fantastic. There is a ski field right next door and you can ski right up to the hotel and they have ski lockers. If I skied Iโd stay there. It is out of the way so you need a car, there is a bus but I highly suggest wheels. Overall very happy with my three nights there fishing the local rivers."

"Setsu Niseko exceeded our expectations in every way from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. All the staff were fantastic. The food we had there from breakfast to dinner ramen and pizza were amazing. But the best part was the size of our room and the views we wake up to everyday for 6 amazing days. Definitely coming back to this stunning hotel."

"Amazing hotel with great staff and beautiful suite. Breakfast was incredible but dinner options were limited. Could not get into their Japanese restaurant even though booking day in advance. When booking their Italian restaurant, they said they only had one table left by entrance door. I pushed for a window seat and said we would be out in an hour. Anyway, the restaurant was never more than half full and we never had to move. Made me wonder if we should have headed over to the Japanese restaurant and seen if it was actually full. Not sure what all the fuss was about but a bit concerning given there is nowhere else to eat nearby and this is the slow season. Where do people eat when the hotel is full?"

"Great central location between upper and lower Hirafu, with roomy-modern condo style layout. Open kitchen/dining/living area with complimentary wine, fruit, eggs, milk, coffee to help you start the day. The only drawback is that Niseko is very quiet in early June, with the restaurants in the hotel and most in the surrounding closed. The coffee shop in Chatrium re-opens in mid-June while other restaurants in Hirafu also re-open thereafter."
Mercure Niseko Resort (Formerly known as Midtown Niseko)

"Good experiences on multiple visits here. Breakfast is decent, and there are good dining options and a 7-11 within walking distnace. It can be a little tough to get to the Niseko United slopes (shuttle can be unreliable), but I'm visiting to ski tour; so that doesn't really matter for my purposes."
