After a long international flight, I arrived at the hotel at 3:30am, hoping to get a few hours of sleep begore a very important meeting in the morning.
I was told that the hotel is overbooked and they cannot give me a room!! It was a prepaid booking from days ago!
They told me they can put me in another Marriott half an hour away, which meant another half an hour time loss in the morning to go to my meeting!
I chose to find a room at another hotel nearby, and asked them to drop me off there with a car as there were no taxis at that time. They told me they can only drop me off at another Marriott hotel and have to find my own transport for any other hotel!
I must have stayed at hundreds of hotels around the world and have never witnessed such outrageous and terrible service!
