"This hotel is not what I thought it would be. The area is sketchy and if I had been a single traveler I would not have felt safe. It is close to the waterfront but it is very industrial. There are a couple of burnt out buildings next door and an unkempt looking trailer park next to them. Not to mention a train running directly behind the hotel. When we walked in we were told that I had booked only 1 person not 2 and charged us an additional €30…! The room was adequate."

"Really warm welcome and friendly staff. Amenable when we arrived early. Room really clean. The building and rooms are in need of upgrading and decorating. It did feel tired and a bit shabby. Location is great, near a free beach and close to lovely bars and restaurants. Breakfast was good - usual breads, boiled eggs, fruit, coffee."
