"Nice location, however expedia should diaplay a warning..risk of death or serious injury during the drive up to the hotel. It is very dated and not well kept. Our balcony door was jammed and would not open.we drove at night and its literally on topof the mountain with no guard rails. No restuarnts are walking distance and we didnt feel safe driving down from the mountain to grab a bite. Hotel restaurant closed at 930pm, luckily we were able to order food delivery. Grand Hotel Londra

"The hotel is a well maintained classic older hotel. The lobby and seating area are extensive and very comfortable. Breakfast in their dining room was very good. The walk to the center takes about 10-15 minutes, but it is a pleasant walk. We were on the 4th floor with a balcony and the view was excellent."

"The hotel was extremely noisy at night because we had to keep the windows open. The air conditioning was not working in May, apparently because the hotel considers it “not summer yet.” Unfortunately, it was around 30°C during our stay, so sleeping without air conditioning was impossible. With the windows open, the noise from outside made it very difficult to sleep. This was very disappointing and significantly affected our comfort."

"I had no plans in Sanremo, took a train from Cannes. I didn’t realize the hotel was far from the station so I had to take a taxi. Very nice property, I stayed in annex building in a single room. What stood out was the impeccable customer service and helpful staff. From bellmen to the check in and waitstaff. Extra amenities in room that many hotels as of late skimp on including dental kit, mouth wash and even an intamacy wash. Month of May in Italian Riviera is extremely sunny than expected so I didn’t spend time in pool but it was large and looked nice. The design is minimalist art deco. The breakfast is top notch! If I wasn’t gluten free I would have had all the pastries and tarts! But great gluten free options too + good quality yogurt and jams."
