"I like the way you get treated from the staff. Receptionist was so helpful and kind to us .But when we got into the room everything changed. As soon as we got there it was a terrible smell inside the room. We had to open the window “tiny little window “.
After a while we realised the smell was actually coming from the bathroom..
we couldn’t sleep half of the night because of the smell that was coming all the time ..
I will really think twice before choosing to go there again …"
"When we arrived after a long hot journey I would have liked a drink and to relax
Almost every table had many many glasses and bottles on them , even outside
We did find a table and it was dirty
I ordered food and drink and rewards app , but the young guy that served me wasn’t concentrating and I know he didn’t apply it as it was 5%dicount and he short changed me £2
I was tired and hungry I could t be bothered to argue the fact at all
The room had a very funny smell smelt like dog ( not sure they allow ) , the only window was the bathroom , not nice at all"
"Hotel very central and short walk to the beach. WiFi not strong, we struggle to get a signal. Bed the mattress needs updating but nice shower. Breakfast ok standard English breakfast. Parking very crowded as not hotel exclusive. We spent over 1 hr trying to get a space one day.
Overall stay ok."
"A perfectly placed hotel for exploring Bournemouth beaches. The restaurant was nice not huge selection but nice and freshly cooked. Breakfast was a good mix. Staff were fantastic. Especially Holly at front desk- she was so friendly and kind. Gave us tips to get to the best part of a beach nearby saving us loads of time and stress. Helped us get extra pillows for the room. The superior room was really lovely , clean and air conditioned was perfect for heat wave ! Will def stay here again when we return to Bournemouth"
"Outside of hotel very shabby, inside looked a lot nicer. No facilities such as catering and spa etc all had to used at their sister hotel next door. Offered sea view room at additional cost, which we did not require. When we got to our room it had a sea view anyway. Room was a good size and clean and comfortable. Parking on site offered as available on arrival yes parking available at £20 per day, no fee was mentioned in the advert, so would have been nice to know in advance, no reduction for guests staying at hotel…"
"Excellent location with a seafront view and within walking distance of the town centre. The staff were extremely helpful — even though we arrived at midnight, they still did their best to help us find a parking space and guide us to our room. Very impressive service! The elegant décor reflects Marriott’s quality and standards beautifully. Thank you — we will definitely come back if we travel to Bournemouth again."
"Great location within walking distance from station. Very welcoming staff and clean rooms.
They state clearly no air conditioner.
Very friendly breakfast staff and delicious breakfast."
