"Lovely clean room with a nice bathroom. Perfect for a short stay. Came with tea/coffee, a television and free WI-FI. No mini fridge. We didn't need one so it wasn't an issue. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of hot food and a continental breakfast. No road noise or unusual bumps in the night so had a wonderful, peaceful sleep. Useful parking at the rear of hotel and easy access to the town of Thirsk. Overall a lovely stay. Lovely staff. Lovely food and a lovely part of the world. "

"Clean room, if tired, was nice for 2 nights though I did mention to them that the mattress in our lovely room really needed replacing. The staff were great but clearly shorthanded. On our first night we ate in the bar, but waited an hour for our meals which were ok... The views as shown on the ads are spot on - incredible, and we were very lucky with the weather. With some investment, this place could be really, really lovely, inside as well as out."

"Good stay overall. What i would say is dont expect it to look like the pictures we was but when we got there looked like a block of flats. Breakfast wasnt the best tbh very little on offer very basic but it was included with our stay. For the price you cant go wrong as nesr york its double the price. "

"We recently stayed at your farm on the 31st December Whilst we loved the location and easy check in, we arrived at just gone 5pm and were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, we do not think it had been cleaned at all since the last guests and likely longer than that. "This cottage has a really nice vibe very clean and ideally situated for visiting Thirsk and the local communities. The market square is a few short steps away The railway station is a pleasant 30 minutes walk away, but it does have a bus service if the weather is not too good The cottage is spread over 3 storeys and is modern kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and sitting/living room is 1st floor and bedroom top floor.
