"Good location if visiting Monticello and wine country and easy access to highway. Foyer and room were clean and modern but breakfast was lacking. Seemed like something you would get at a much lower quality hotel. Missing items on buffet. Cut my foot on door leaving hotel room and desk staff only had one antiseptic wipe in their first aid kit. Did not even ask me to complete a report. "

"Stayed here for a UVA tour with my daughter. It was clean, felt new, decent breakfast (included), easy parking - I think it was $15, right outside of the hotel. It would probably be about a 10 min walk to UVA - near Main Street/next to the university. "

"Location was convenient with a free shuttle to the small downtown area. Star taxi was amazing, on time and extremely friendly. However what made my stay great was the staff. I had problems with my room and they immediately put me in one that was much better. They did everything to accommodate my needs including offering an umbrella when it rained. "

"It's very clean and the aesthetic is nice. It's in an excellent location, and the room was very affordable. The only real issue was the lack of basic hotel amenities. The rooms have a fridge, bed, full bathroom, and a TV, and that's about it. "This is our go-to stop on our way to and from Philadelphia. It is recently renovated and has a nice, bright look to the interior. There's an indoor pool and an exercise room. In keeping with being an English inn, there's an afternoon tea service in the lobby. The staff members are all friendly, helpful and efficient. We especially appreciate that it is a pet-friendly property with a good deal of the surrounding area available for walks. It is also conveninet to a wide array of restaurants."
