We received a chocolate mousse to the room and 2 free drinks vouchers, however I had read reviews saying people had received bottles of champagne. "Wasn’t quite what I was expecting on check in, more an apart-hotel than hotel. Check in area and bar / restaurants very good with nice ambience. Was a bit disappointed with room, didn’t feel it really reflected the pictures and description. Very small and space sacrificed to make into a studio area. Bed was tucked into a corner which made it awkward for 2 people and bathroom space limited. Expected it to be a bit more luxurious for price and compared to rest of hotel. "Sadly the stay wasn't great. The room had faulty hot water, the toilet kept running on and there was loud music playing into the early hours. When I raised it with staff upon check out, they said simply, 'please let us know earlier next time'. I'd checked in late, was tired and didn't want to change rooms by the time I realised all of the above. Poor show."

"Lovely hotel but has seen better days. In need of refurbishment. The A/C in our room was very weak & the shower was broken. The room was really spacious & very comfortable bed. Unfortunately our room overlooked the railway line which obviously increased the noise levels. The staff were very friendly & competent. The pool area wasn't particularly clean & the men's steam room wasn't working."
