Good service!
Check in was easy and the room was very clean with a refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning, etc. The service was great providing extra towels immediately and giving all details we needed for our stay. The town was very quiet and not much was open for food options or activities. It wasn’t a long drive to Cooperstown where we planned to spend the next day. It was comfortable and met out needs.

Very convenient to Glimmerglass and Cooperstown. Very clean and well-kept. On the Main Street, but quiet. A little more expensive than I would have liked, but it is the peak season (July). We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, quiet little place. Very comfortable. Had everything we needed. Our only "complaint" would be that the water for showering wasn't very hot. Staff was delightful and friendly.

Nice and quiet motel
Looks can be deceiving but we were very satisfied with our stay here. Even though there was a bit of a mixup at checking in (not on them), check in overall was quick. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and shower was clean and looked like it was recently remodeled as well. Considering this motel was on the main road in town and we had the room closest to the road, we were worried there would be a lot of noise from traffic. Even with the windows open, no noise at all. Would stay here again!

Quiet, friendly, the room was a bit outdated but the bathroom was modern which was a bit interesting. There was a clogged drain in the tub but we didn’t say anything till we checked out as it wasn’t a huge deal to us. They did let us know they would have fixed it right away or moved us.

Great local run motel--support small business
There used to be well run motels like this across the country, by many have fallen into disrepair and fleabag status. I am happy to report that the Village Motel is still cared for, and still retains the high standards of motels past. Excellent place, would stay again.

Our stay was enjoyable. Rooms very clean well kept. Close to Cooperstown with a great price! The only downfall was lack of restaurants in immediate area. Two local places for dinner but they closed very early so had to go to McDonalds. But the hotel was great and would recommend!

This is a good choice if you are looking for a no frills kind of place. The room was clean, the bathroom had been remodeled recently. However everything about this place seems old and outdated, from the drapes to the furniture. The mattress is our only complaint. To say it was soft is an understatement. It was horribly soft. The owners were pleasant and it was an okay stay.

Very clean and affordable
We recently ran the 2021 Utica Boilermaker, which was held in October rather than the traditional start in July. We looked for a hotel very late in the summer and were fortunate enough to find an available room at the Village Motel. The motel was more than adequate for a brief, one night stay. Our room although plain, was spotless, the beds were firm, yet we found them to be comfortable. Management was very courteous and the neighborhood appeared to be safe. If you are looking for an inexpensive, clean place to stay, I would highly recommend the Village Motel. Yes, if in a similar situation we would stay there again without hesitation.
