"So yes this is a three star hotel / apartment residence block and that's what you get - three stars. We stayed in one of the apartments, which are closer to the beach than the hotel rooms - but very basic - styking from the 1970's, no kettle, no TV, cheap plastic furniture etc - but functional. You have to pay about €150 extra for air con, if available... Upon checkin - info was extremely basic - almost nothing - just a room key. No info on anything really (wifi / beach location / bins access / how to get to the beach etc) - nothing on paper either. However, I'd still recommend this place on balance, despite being pricey (but then again everything is pricey in this region of Italy in August) - because the beach is outstanding (very beautiful, plenty of beach activities, ideal for kids) and the beach cafe is very good. The apartments are between 150m and 300 ms from the beach up a steep road - good exercise to walk. Nearby Tropea is wonderful to visit an defo recommend a stromboli night cruise. Pizzo and Scilla - OK - but nothing compared to Tropea (however parking is Tropea is a nightmare if you arrive after 6pm)...IF you want a relaxing beach holiday with the family - this is a wonderful location. Not huge doses of cultural artefacts - but enough to keep it edgy. Enjoy"

"Michela the bartender/ waitress / is an incredible asset , amazing person and a new friend for us ❤️. Food was great ,Domenic was amazing. The ladies at reception were friendly and super accommodating. We travelled from far and had a late check in and it was smooth . "The highlight of staying here was the delicious restaurant (la locanda) — we ate there two of our three nights and both meals were great! the property is not really close to / walkable to the beach (Riaci Beach). we did it on the first day and while it’s only a little over a kilometer away there are many hills to navigate and would not recommend it. The room and shower were smaller than expected from the photos online (the outdoor terrace was bigger than the room) unfortunately it was too hot when we visited to really enjoy any outdoor space (also it’s not very private…). Pool was lovely and cocktails poolside were very nice!"

"I review hotels so hard for me to turn my work head off However if I were writing up Village Eden. I would say a wonderful paradise for all travellers. Great for couples & families. I has an apartment in the annex up the hill and it was perfect. The hotel itself if lovely. The beach is absolutely beautiful. The staff is super sweet and welcoming. Always ensuring that we had everything we needed. Getting from the annex up on the hill to beach side hotel was a breeze. Golf carts pick you up on request quickly. Never waited more than 3 minutes before the golf cart pick up arrived and that’s available until midnight which is great if you’re having late drinks at the hotel restaurant which was so so fantastic The cocktails were superb.perfect Service &Food so very delicious. Wonderful chef and selection for every type of diet.The private beach is beautiful and each room has alotted beach loungers guaranteed. The pool was awesome if sand isn’t your thing. So glad I chose Village Eden for my personal holiday in Capo Vaticano. I would suggest car hire to get around the area and an afternoon visit to Tropea. Te horse offers a parking space for each room. I LOVE THIS PLACE."
