"The room was lovely. Bathroom needs to be cleaned better, our shower wasn’t running properly and all that was down to was cleaning the shower head which I did myself. The English breakfast seemed to upset mine and my partners stomach so we stuck to the pastries and cereal which they had a good choice of. The check in staff were professional and polite but could be more informative on what is available on site and help with directions. The two members of staff who truly were outstanding, friendly, polite and inviting were Linda on breakfast and Craig from the gym. Both of them were helpful, informative and very welcoming to guests,the young girls serving at breakfast were abrupt, ignorant and too busy having a chin wag to care for the customers. This is our second year of staying here and we love the location. The price we’ve paid, I guess we were just hoping to feel more like a guest than a chore. We’re hoping that if we come again next year it will be a more enjoyable experience. "

"Lyons Holiday Park is a great site with plenty of activities for adults and children, both indoors and outdoors with good food options. However, I would not recommend booking through this particular host. Communication was extremely difficult. Only email was available, and the phone number provided did not work—even for Hotels.com staff. On arrival, the caravan assigned to me had not been cleaned and was in an unhygienic, unacceptable condition. As the booking was non‑refundable, I was initially at risk of losing the full amount, and the host’s responses were slow and unhelpful. Another issue was that access to amenities and the pool was not included, and this was not clearly stated in the advert. This felt misleading and unfair. For anyone planning a trip to North Wales, I strongly recommend booking directly with Lyons Holiday Park. Their prices are lower, amenities are included, and the caravans are properly managed. Fortunately, Lyons had availability, and I was able to book a cleaner and cheaper caravan directly with them, which made the holiday enjoyable. The stressful part was dealing with the refund process for the original booking. Hotels.com eventually refunded me the value of my new booking, but I still lost time and experienced unnecessary hassle during my holiday. Overall, Lyons Holiday Park itself is excellent value, offering natural beauty and good entertainment. My negative experience was solely due to this host’s poor comms and the condition of the caravan"

"We loved our stay with Elvira and David. They were gracious, kind and welcoming hosts! Our room was lovely, with one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. The food was amazing!! Breakfast in the lovely conservatory was truly spectacular with fresh fruit, croissants and a piping hot breakfast. We would highly recommend a stay with David and Elvira!!"

"The gas was not working! We spent the night freezing cold with hardly any sleep. A neighbouring caravan told us that someone had been to the caravan before we arrived and failed to fix the Heating. We went to reception and asked for someone to fix it and they said no one was available. We decided to leave and go home. Our weekend break was completely ruined. I have asked the host for a full refund and hopefully he will not make a fuss if he does. I shall notify my credit card Company for a reimbursement or perhaps take the matter to the small claims court"
