"I reserved a double room with private bath and it was just like in the pictures. Room and all spaces I saw were clean and staff were super helpful and friendly. Had dinner at the onsite restaurant the night I arrived and the breakfast buffet the next morning. Everything was great!"

"Felt like being at a real hotel - nice room, comfy bed, good shower. Food in restaurant was good local wholesome food. The staff were absolutely excellent - helpful with anything we wanted. Best place we have stayed so far on our trip around Iceland!"

"Beautiful and romantic cottages in the woods of northern Iceland. Lovely furnishings with romantic touches like candles, bathrobes and bedding. Well kept, clean and fabulous outdoor hot tub. Plus very convenient to outstanding river rafting with Viking!"

"No communication or appearance by staff except the email before arrival. The hot tub signage was not easy to locate and it took over 2 hours for tub to fill, as apparently it is emptied nightly instead of being covered. Other than that the rooms, showers and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is clean and food available for breakfast. A bit tight in the kitchen if everyone who stayed needed to use it at the same time"
