"We arrived Monday for three night stay. The Superior Room with Sea View was exactly as shown, light with balcony overlooking the sea. Well worth the money spent. Breakfast was spot on with lots of choice. Mary who looked after the rooms was very engaging, friendly and kind. She also helped rescue a seagull fledgling stuck on the balcony. Very good service in large bar/eating area. Thank you very much, looking forward to returning for another stay."

"Very nice hotel, with a green feel to it. The room smelt fresh upon arrival and we even got a little complimentary welcome cookie. Good service and a very nice roof top view. "

There was a great choice of breakfasts which were beautifully prepared, and presented in the lovely ArtDeco dining room. "We received the warmest of welcomes from Jim, the proprietor. He was so lovely, funny and kind. Although the Shenandoah is a period house, it is right up to date, the decor and furniture looked new. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, there was probably something to suit everyone. "Stayed on a Friday night as we were at a family do. Perfect for us. Had the twin. Both beds comfortable - one softer than the other. Had everything we needed. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful. Information sheet was perfect. The breakfast was excellent! "
