"We had an issue on the first night with a noisy kitchen fan unit under our window. Not much sleep had! I went to see Reception first thing and the receptionist and Manager were terrific. They said that we could move , we just packed our things, went out and they moved our luggage to a new room. "

"In over 30 years of travelling on business, this is one of the best places I have stayed in.Although I did not meet the owners it was clear that the accommodation was well looked after and virtually everything had been thought of for the comfort of their guests. Virtually everything was absolutely spotlessly clean.The only small point I noticed was that there was dirt around the toilet seat hinge - a bit of a dirt trap and difficult to access(I'm sounding like a "Four in a Bed" contestant...

"There was no clear indication of how we accessed the property. Despite trying to communicate with the owner, there was no response. We had to just turn up and hope for the best. Luckily, after getting to the pod, the key was there and the stay was good. It has everything you need and is in a great location. "

"Lovely one night stay, we had wanted to stay at the Falstaff Inn for some years and finally got the opportunity recently, it was worth the wait! "The hotel and our room (No 5) were nicely styled in a modern silver-grey scheme. Our room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. Bathroom was clean and modern too. However, 3x issues really: 1. the TV didn't work very well - aerial didn't function properly so signal & picture/sound kept cutting out; 2. bathroom door didn't shut fully; and lastly, 3. single-glazed windows meant noise from the road outside was loud. We were also awoken on 2 nights around 2am from loud & shrill girls'...
