"Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. If we had asked, I’m sure it would have been provided. Accessing the tours and using the river was a highlight for our family.

Mangoes Resort
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our private plunge pool. They have an excellent chef!"

Warwick Le Lagon - Vanuatu
8/10 Good
"The buffet breakfast was fantastic, and I’d like to thank the staff for their excellent service. Overall, the team across the resort were friendly, kind, courteous, and very helpful. The resort itself is beautiful, with well-maintained gardens that create a lovely atmosphere. The snorkelling was a highlight, and having complimentary equipment available was a great bonus. We also enjoyed the recreational facilities and had fun using the pool table, table tennis, and tennis courts, although some of the equipment could benefit from being updated or replaced. The accommodation was clean and comfortable; however, the bathrooms could use a refresh and a more modern look. We also found that towels, body wash, and other toiletries were not replenished daily, so we needed to request these items. Beach towels were sometimes unavailable as they were frequently being washed or dried, which meant having to wait. It would also be helpful to provide guests with a little more local information on arrival, such as typical taxi costs and shop opening hours, particularly noting that some shops close from midday on Saturdays. Great pools, outdoor activities, well kept resort, with beautiful staff. We would recommend you to stay here - we loved it"

Fatumaru Lodge Port Vila
10/10 Excellent
"Delightful, Friendly, convenient and very charming. Pool is great for a little am swim. Nice breakfast. We walked down the road last night for a delicious pizza and Tusker beer. Will return. What's not to love here. Balconies have gorgeous view."

Ramada Resort by Wyndham Port Vila
8/10 Good
"We recently stayed at the Ramada Resort in Port Vila and overall had a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay, which really made a positive impression. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well presented, with beautiful views across the bay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn’t work for the first two days of our stay. Thankfully, the weather was relatively cool at the time, so it wasn’t too uncomfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options available each morning. My only criticism would be the coffee. There was no barista-made coffee available, and the machine coffee was probably the worst coffee I’ve had while travelling. I know that’s a first-world problem, but good coffee is one of life’s little holiday luxuries! I’d also suggest reconsidering promoting complimentary Wi-Fi as a guest benefit. The Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable and often difficult to use. Despite those issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wonderful staff, comfortable accommodation and stunning bay views made for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We’d happily stay again and would recommend the resort to others looking for a relaxing stay in Port Vila."

The Moso Vanuatu
10/10 Excellent
"For those who's priority is relaxation and refreshing the mind & spirit, this is the place for you. The Moso has 15 villas, so there's typically no more than 30 guests. Many guests stick to their villas since several have their own pools. Yes, you can take trips, the staff will arrange boat transfers to Efate, a 10 minute ride away, or to Major Tom, the sailboat that moors about 15 minutes away. The walk to Embas beach on the other side of the island takes 30-40 minutes, but well worth the incline over the hill and back down. The reef there is even more amazing than the one out front of the resort. I had a massage booked for later that day, so I asked the staff to pick us up on the quad for the trip back, which they did. Friday and Saturday nights from 5:30pm you can walk 10-15 minutes to the nearest side of the village to Jerry's Kava Bar. Chat with the locals, look at the moon, stars and water from the porch. Take a few bucks in cash for the Kava and Tuskers (beer). The locals are some of the most delightful people I've met. Downsides: If you need to be active all the time, this is not the place for you. It's quiet, tranquil, remote, and sometimes they're out of a dish from the menu due to limited supplies. We couldn't get our pool light to work (put that on the bulb replacement list) and the in-room safe needed new AA batteries. Big deal, right? It's fabulous. We loved it."
