"When we arrived it took the host some time to open the gate. We took a taxi as this place is quite far out from modena. When he opened the gate he did not help unload or ask how the journey was etc but was chatting with our taxi driver as we stood obviously waiting to get to our rooms. He then told us the restaurant on site is closed and so was the pool. It was early evening when we arrived. We asked if there is anywhere to get food and he said he would tell us where but then picked up a phone...

"The hotel was literally across the street from the train station. Nice inside the hotel. There were a couple spots on the carpet on our way to our rooms but other than that fairly clean. They have a breakfast buffet option which was good and had enough options. You could even make your own fresh juice. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the center. On the walk, there is plenty to see and many shops and cafes. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Hotel location was great and staff were all fabulous, friendly and helpful. Garden terrace and bar was great. 2 small niggles the bistro food whilst good quality was limited choice (although there are many other eateries within minutes of hotel) and my bathroom was a bit tatty. Clean but fittings worn and over bath shower was only just acceptable. Air con worked!"

Room was very modern (and very orange), but well equipped and very comfortable, Breakfast was good with a wide variety of foods available. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the central train station, which was about a three minute walk."

"Lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were a great size, clean and powerful shower. There’s also a brilliant rooftop with a jacuzzi. Location wise it is a bit further from the city centre, but my partner and I love walking so we were fine. It’s probably 30-40 min walk into the heart of Bologna however there is a bus that goes direct if you don’t want too. Had a lovely stay here!"
