"An older property with a facelift that is built into the cliff side gives European style vibes and easy beach access with an incredible view but prepare for lots of stairs and not so modern heat / air options. We had a plumbing issue with water and debris backing up into our bathroom sink overnight likely caused by years of people rinsing their sandy clothes in the sink which isn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault."

"The room was nice, the view great. No mention when booking that the hotel was undergoing major renovation. The check in lobby was in basement parking area. Due to construction, there should have been some relief to the $45 a night parking fee and $35 a night resort fee."

Combine the beauty with where the property is located (directly across from the beach and Pacific Ocean) makes for great start to an anniversary celebration. Everything was wonderful. The staff was superb. The amenities were top notch. I wish I had at least two more days to take advantage of all that this resort hotel had to offer. I highly recommend this resort hotel if you are in or around Huntington Beach area. "
