Hotels near Regal Park Place

"My family and I were traveling from Orlando to go to Busch Gardens. I’m not from the area and upon looking at the website and the reviews, it seemed like a comparable place for me and my family and boy was I wrong. The photos online are not accurate. The hotel is under construction and refurbishment, which means the hot waffle breakfast and any other choices were not available. That was not posted on the site. It was told to me as I checked in. Visibly outside everything looks in disarray and broken down. There’s a trailer park across the street and homeless people to give you a better idea of where this location is at I know that they can’t help that but just giving you some imagery. We weren’t told that the elevator was down. The first room they gave us reeked of cigarette smoke. I requested for them to spray the room or move me… the front desk agent tried to do his best, but apparently there wasn’t anybody available to really spray the room so they did move us. I also asked to have a working elevator so they did that too, but to my surprise, the elevator hasn’t been serviced since 2023. I made sure to take a photo of the paper that was inside. It was a scary ride up and down. This place has garbage on the parking lot. Everything is rundown. We got into a hotel room and didn’t want to step out. Pretty much only there for a hot shower and sleep. The beds aren’t uncomfortable, but the shower pressure was at least nice. There wasn’t a vent in the shower so Wet everywhere"

"Was given a room by the construction area. Asked to move and front desk person told me she would let me know when a room was available to move and never heard from her. There are no phones in the rooms so if you need assistance you need to walk to the front desk. Housekeeping never showed up during my entire 4 day- 3 night stay. There’s no breakfast only one coffee pumper in the lobby. Vending machine on first floor. No gym. No amenities except for the pool. The room was big and renovated but no microwave only a refrigerator. No coffee maker but did have an ice bucket. Only 2 towels and 2 wash clothes. Cheap shampoo and soap. The bed was comfortable and the tv was nice. Price was good but prices have increased and construction is still ongoing. No fire extinguisher on my floor so it could have been a problem if there was a fire. Also NO place to hang clothes, No iron or ironing board in the rooms. "

"As soon as we entered our room (239), which was supposed to be a non-smoking room, the smell of cigarette smoke was extremely strong. To make matters even worse, when we conducted a more thorough inspection of the room, we found cockroaches everywhere: in the bedroom, in the bathroom, and near the coffee machine. The photos I am sending clearly confirm what we experienced. It was a terrible and unacceptable situation. When I asked the front desk about the possibility of a refund for what we paid, the attendant simply told me that my rate was non-refundable. Even in a situation like this? We were eventually given another room where the situation was somewhat better; however, that room was still not properly cleaned. As customers, we have completely lost our confidence in this hotel. "

"While Days Inn is a budget chain, this location is truly bare bones. There were NO amenites. The lobby was entirely devoid of furniture. There was no in-room coffee maker, no continental breakfast, or any public space to sit and relax. Located in a mostly industrial area, there was only one eatery within walking distance. "

"I love Comfort Inn rooms are always clean security is very good Free breakfast which is eggs bacon and any type of bread not just muffins and coffee! All of the staff are wonderful from check in until check out OH Pool too!"

"This was one of the best days that I’ve ever had. It was extremely quiet, which is a luxury for my family and I the staff was really really nice and very attentive when we need a towels or anything else and then I mention it was very quiet and 15 minutes away from Clearwater Beach very clean and the mattresses were nice and comfy, and the AC unit was just right no issues whatsoever"
