"It was very basic room and breakfast. The construction surrounding the hotel was blowing dirt everywhere and confused my GPS and sent us through the construction. Recommend you close down and update the hotel. Doors in the halls to maintenance areas were in need of help."

"Loved the breakfast. Common areas were clean and well lit. The room, while comfortable, nut needed housekeeping attention, particularly the bathroom. I was confused by the room cleaning schedule of every other day. Our room was freshened only once in our 7 night stay. Trash was emptied only once. We liked the hotel and will return."

"I stayed here on a quick overnight after a delayed flight. The front desk person was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. There is a bar/restaurant where I got an appetizer. It was good.I left early in the morning, so I did not use the pool or fitness center. I appreciated the free coffee in the lobby."

"Believe the reviews when you read them here. Middle of the road hotel. Strange smell permeating the hallways. TV from what seemed like the early 2010s. Beds were comfy, however there were no extra blankets when I asked the front desk. Diner next door is very average. Nothing necessarily too wrong with it but would't stay again for the price."

"Great place, especially for the price. My room was clean and tidy, with plenty of the expected accouterments in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there was ample parking. Unfortunately, they were working on the property, so there was no breakfast as of 6/25/26. They did have a coffee and vending machine. It's proximity to plenty of restaurants was a big draw for me. I will be staying again."

"The lobby smelled like weed and there was a guy dealing in the parking lot all afternoon and evening. Cigarette holes in the bed spread. Holes in the curtains. Door at the end of the hall to the outside was off its hinges. Wi-Fi didn't work. Do not go there. We left just after 7:00 am. Couldn't wait to leave."

"My room was not as clean as I was hoping. There was still leftover stuff on the stove that I scrubbed off. The pans and stuff all had this weird film to it even after I washed it. The cups didn’t feel or look super clean and my sheets and pillow had little hairs on it. Although I asked for new sheets those had hair too so I shook everything off and tried to move on. The room itself was great and super spacious just felt like it overall could’ve been cleaner. Even the carpet seemed a little old....

"The location of this property was great, on the perimeter of downtown Portsmouth which is a wonderful little city. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, both for good selection and the taste. My biggest complaint is that it was very noisy in my room. The AC unit is the loudest I've ever heard. A few times I thought it was a nearby train when it started running. Also the people in the room above me woke me up at 1 AM doing something. I didn't hear voices...
