"Great ocean view! Ground floor unit was spacious and clean. Unfortunately could hear every step from the people in the unit above us. Our time was shoulder season so only hot tub and steam room were available."

"We absolutely loved our stay! The resort is in the beach with a beautiful boardwalk along the shoreline. The on-site restaurant had delicious food. Ideally located making it a quick drive to other sites and activities. Walkout room was perfect for teens to go off and have fun!"

"Our one night stay was refreshing! The beds were comfortable, ac was quiet, towels were bath sized, pillows so nice! The table and chairs were nice for games. The lounge with a latte machine was super nice in the morning!"

"The stay is generally pretty good. The view was gorgeous from the room and you can literally step out of the room onto beach. The only thing that I want to complain is the bedding. Not sure what material it was made of, but it’s nowhere near breathable."

"Room clean, bedding great, liked the little dove soaps etc in the bathroom. Free safe parking Free breakfast ok but we have had much better. Didn't like it closed off during rest of the day , not like the two other hotels we stayed where always fresh coffee or tea, or water dispenser , the area was friendly ,nice & quiet on the boardwalks by the water .."

"Note that the property is pretty old, so you will sleep in smells of mold/old wood/old sewage system etc for the night. Not too strong tho, tolerable considering the price and location. Otherwise the place was fine. Spacious room, helpful and friendly staff, 3 min drive away from Departure Bay, nice Harbour view, quiet, etc."

"Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We received a complimentary upgrade which was lovely for our simple night away. Property is older but decently cared for. We felt comfortable and safe. Enjoyed free mini golf in parksville too! This was a surprise. Would stay here again. "

"Window has no screen and dirty. Air conditioning is making loud noise with fan running but does not cool the space. Bathroom sink does not drain well. Check-in took ~30 min. There is no common space or breakfast room. No one helped to check out. The laundry room which services the entire hotel is dirty. Noted homeless people staying under the exterior stair. Booked with Expedia which rates 8.2. Honestly don’t know how it gets rated with this high rating. Very disappointed and Certainly not...
