"A wonderfully presented, clean and comfortable stay was had at The Railway cottage. The facilites were very good and extra touches such as blackout material avaliable to use was very useful in a heat wave. The cottage is in a good location for travelling to tourist spots. We found the matresses uncomfortable as they are very soft but this is just personal preference. "Lovely house, but single glazed windows make traffic noise a problem. More annoyingly is the undeclared security deposit, of which they keep £10 of as ‘admin fee’. Felt like a shady way of charging an extra tenner. Shame because the house was nice, but the admin fee left a bad taste with me for not being transparent at booking. "
