"Its a cute little hotel with an old feel. Right on the main strip in bird in hand. Yet it's quiet. Loved it. "

"A delightful, off the beaten path accommodation! Absolute must for train lovers. We arrived just before the last train of the day passed by, and felt it down to our toes. Dinner at Casey Jones (a real vintage dining car) was delicious. Our caboose "room" was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. "

"Everyone should experience several nights at The Altland House. It's truly a special place. Our room was an "interior" room and we heard no traffic. Real for keys!! The brewery in the basement and the restaurant on the main level were superb. "

"The staff were informative & friendly, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The parking was right in front of your room, which made it very easy to unload and load your bags. No complaints at all for the stay. Only the breakfast part was the not too impressive-you either get $8 pp credit or select from a limited simple choices. The portions were very small. My daughter chose 2eggs w/ the hash brown which was very, very salty so couldn’t even finish half. I had the croissant...

"Great! Close location to sight and sound. Indoor pool was a huge plus in April. Kids loved the room and the breakfast in the morning 7-10am. The pool was warm also but they def need more chairs and loungers. The fitness center seemed like it would do the trick in a pinch. I didn’t see anyone use it but the equipment is well maintained. "

"The room was what was to be expected and for the price it was nice. I have stayed in more expensive places that were less impressive. I will say that I paid in advance and was nice made aware of a policy that includes charging my card BEFORE I stay in the room and as if they are assuming I’m going to break all the motel rules.
