Quality/price ratio is high. Room is big and clean, comfortable beds are good for sleeping.
Nice place for transit/overnight stay to rest from a long drive. Comfortable beds and clean sheets, spacious rooms. Would definitely do another transit stay.
Property was clean and quiet with quick food very close by. It was just what I needed on a long trip, a place to eat, sleep good, and clean up before leaving. Thank you

The staff was great and friendly. The room smelled, the door only partially locked, the electrical should be updated, the shower leaked, it seemed unsafe. The motel reminded me of the old movies where shooting would happen. For the price it was not bad for this economy.
Very nice & friendly, allowed us to check in early. Bed was comfortable & clean. Area was quiet enough. Nice stop for tired travelers, not fancy but it was restful on a budget.
It was the cheapest place in Raton NM, it looked like a 70s throwback but in the hood, the front desk worker was cool, the room looked like it had not been updated in many years, but was actually pretty comfortable.

You get what you pay for.
Decent stay for a single night. Room is very old and pretty run down, with the amount of carpet staining one would expect from the cheapest hotel in town. Mini fridge was kind of ew, but again, no surprise there. Sheets and towels had some yellow staining, but were clean and smelling of bleach. Water in the shower was akin to a firehose, which felt AMAZING after a long road trip.
Front office lady was kind, and they offer pet friendly rooms. Be aware that pet fee is requested in cash.
Lots of homeless and druggies in the parking lot at night giving it a sketchy feeling, but I survived, so that’s a perk.

Outdated, but sufficient for a quick stop
It was an outdated place and the air conditioner was not enough for the family room (we brought in our camping fans) but the person at the front desk was nice and helpful.
May stay again because of the family room size, but keeping expectations realistic.
Comfortable other than the A/C for the most part.

The staff was great, but the property is a bit old and needs a good remodeling, the light in the restroom wasn't working, and it wasn't the bulb that was bad, it was some kind of issue with the switch or wiring itself, the room had carpet floor but fills like there is tile floor under the carpet. Otherwise it was clean with no strange odors. for the price and a single night, it was good.
This is an old motel that needs major updating. The room was rather big but it was dingy with stained carpet. The windows were held shut by metal clothes hangers. The beds were clean with white sheets. There are several other hotels in the area but everything was booked. So this was our last option. We slept fine and that's all we really needed. The water pressure in the shower was enormous! It almost shot my eye out, so be aware.

Maybe not the safest location…
The staff was very friendly and helpful! The actual motel was pretty run down. The A/C in our room was off, so it was hot when we got in which made it hard to sleep. The windows were “locked” with hangers. The area didn’t feel very safe as we were traveling with small children and our dog and there were multiple stray dogs outside.
Overall, if you’re just looking for a quick stay and you’re traveling without kids I think it’s a decent place, but probably not the most kid-friendly facility.

Affordable and Clean But Could Use Maintenance
The room was very spacious, the facility was clean, and the beds were comfortable.
However, it shows wear and tear from years of use. Most of it was cosmetic and we don't really care about that.
The one concerning issue was that the bathroom light did not work. When we went to request assistance with this, they noted that there's something wrong with the wiring in that room and sometimes it doesn't work, and they provided us with a lamp. That, of course, could be concerning, and really should be fixed. The lamp solution wasn't the best as there was no plug in the bathroom and no place to put a lamp except on top of the toilet back, with the cord going into the next room.
For us, it was fine, and we note that the price was very affordable compared to other facilities in the area, so we were not expecting anything fancy. While we like niceties, we're really primarily at hotels for sleeping, and our main concerns are cleanliness and comfort, which it had. But really at least the electrical issue should be fixed.
