"It’s raining and storming in Dunmore East so we decided to duck into Strand Inn for shelter. When we saw the fresh fish specials of the day, we decided to stay for dinner, too. We fell in love with the staff and decided we needed to stay the night!! It was the perfect decision. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning before we headed on our way. Highly recommended!!!"

"We had an excellent room. The bespart was the super comfy beds, clean and fresh bedding, and newly renovated rooms. Absolutely wonderful stay. The restaurant and pub were excellent as well. "Modern hotel in an excellent location. Room was spotlessly clean with a big, comfortable bed and plenty of room. Huge bathroom with a waterfall shower. Friendly and helpful staff and lovely food in the restaurant. Reasonable bar prices. Couldnt fault it and had a great stay"

"We loved Waterford and the hotel. We almost couldn't fly home from Dublin and we were going to try to go back to Waterford and stay at Dooleys Hotel for as long as we were grounded! Unfortunately, we were able to fly out. Highly recommend!!"
