A lovely place owned and operated by a lovely lady. The view and the breakfast are as good as it gets. The town shoukd be viewed as borh a hang and a base.

I have food allergies & these were accommodated. Besides generous portions, the food was locally sourced & very tasty. The property is gorgeous & beautifully maintained. Most especially, our hostess, Giovanna was warm, friendly & helpful. Being here made our stay in Ragusa very special.

We loved this property. The proprietor could not have been nicer. Our room was small, but I believe there are larger options. The property was lovely, and the breakfast was an outstanding authentic Sicilian experience. It is located in a quiet yet extremely accessible part of charming Ragusa Ibla. I highly recommend this property.

The best room of our 16 day trip to Eastern Sicily
We had an amazing time in Ragusa at La Casa del gesumina. The b and b was close to the center, walking distance to many sites and restaurants and also to the bus stops for the beach and Ragusa Superiore. The breakfasts were unforgettable and the best we have had anywhere. The warning “leave room for the cake!” Heralded a different surprise every day including caffe granite in a sweet roll, a fruit covered tart and others. This was after we had our savory breakfast including fresh ricotta daily from a local farm which we mixed with local honey. Everything was superb. The garden included a hot tub which was lovely in the evening as well as a shallow pool to keep you cool during the hot day. It was perfect!

paradise in Ragusa
This place is an absolute must if you are staying in Ragusa, the natural pool is like paradise, the breakfast was stunning and the hosts are superb. We arrived early but were able to check in and make the most of the sun in the garden which is just perfect, you can sit under cover in comfortable seats, relax on loungers or in hammocks or lie in the natural looking pool and enjoy the jets. The room was really clean and comfortable, parking was directly outside and the breakfast was plentiful, with lots of local produce and freshly made juice and bread. It is about a one minute walk away from the centre of the old town, but lovely and quiet in the evenings and so serene and peaceful in the garden with spectacular views. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed for six nights. Beautiful garden, nice bedroom and fantastic breakfast. The proprietor Giovanna and her team were excellent. Wonderful breakfast included. The garden has a romantic terrace, hot tub and plunge pool and hammocks. Central location in Ragusa Ibla, the historical and romantic part of Ragusa city. Short walk to restaurants, cafés, small supermarkets and gelaterias and bus stop for downtown and beach at Ragusa Marina. The B&B has a fridge to store drinks and robust Wi-Fi. Hope to visit again one day....

Very comfortable bed, room and facilities. Lovely traditional home made breakfast. Staff all particularly friendly and helpful. Wonderful! The best breakfasts served on a lovely terrace overlooking the amazing pool. Friendly, helpful hosts who helped us sort out the buses for our trips out and recommended a good restaurant nearby. The beautiful pool was wonderful to relax in the afternoon, only just deep enough to dip your shoulders but being shallow meant that even in May it soon warmed up in the sun - towels were provided to use in the pool and jacuzzi. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, you could help yourself to water from the fridge downstairs. I can't wait to go back!

Amazing experience!!
It’s not easy to get to but once you get there the place is very clean and has an excellent view. The dinner place Johana recommended, the name might be the Fish a More, had excellent food and wine. Also, breakfast they made for us including the fresh Ricotta cheese was one of the very memorable meals that I had this trip.

This is a small B&B, with only around four rooms, but the service and attention to detail were great. Easy check-in, very short walk to the main street and sights in Ragusa Ibla. Breakfast was outstanding.

En sand perle
Det hele er perfekt. Værtinden, badeværelset, god seng, udsigt fra værelse, rent, skøn morgenmaden, stille og alligevel meget tæt på centrum i den lille charmerende by. Sidst men ikke mindst den pragtfulde perle af en have. Tror ikke det findes bedre hele Sicilien.

Nous avons découvert ce petit coin de paradis, idéalement situé, l’an dernier. Dès lors, cette année, alors que nous projetions notre circuit en Sicile avec notre fille et un couple d’amis, nous avons bien entendu, opté pour la casa Del gelsomino à Ragusa. Notre fille et nos amis ont particulièrement apprécié ce séjour également - dans le désordre : les senteurs de jasmin, le jardin bucolique où nous ont été servis les gargantuesques petits-déjeuners de spécialités siciliennes (crème de pistache, ricotta tiède, figues de barbarie, confitures de figue, salamis, fromages, granita et brioche, cappuccino et j’en passe), jacuzzi, piscine en pierres naturelles, confort de la chambre et surtout l’accueil chaleureux et si sympathique de Giovanna et ses précieux conseils !

Parfait ! Les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse absolue, la chambre a ce qu'il faut, la piscine et le jacuzzi sont un plus incontestables... L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter Raguse à pied et la possibilité de se garer dans la rue est plus que pratique compte tenu des emplacements réservés aux résidents dans cette zone. Le summum reste le petit déjeuner d'excellente qualité avec des produits typiques

Excellente maison, meilleur souvenir de vacances.
Accueil très cordial, chambre confortable, calme et le "must" c'était le bassin spa dans le jardin où nous nous sommes bien rafraîchis après la visite de Raguse sous la chaleur, dans un décor plein de charme avec une vue magnifique sur Raguse. Le petit déjeuner le lendemain dans le jardin était très agréable et succulent et servi très chaleureusement par une des hôtesses qui parle très bien français.

Struttura ben curata, dalla nostra camera si godeva un panorama mozzafiato. Bellissima terrazza dove abbiamo fatto splendide colazioni. Giovanna e la ragazza che lavora li ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Soggiorno indimenticabile che speriamo di ripetere!
