Our booking was online in January 2026 so they knew this already and still accepted the reservation . £200 out the window and had to drive to Abergavenny to look for accommodation late at night …"

"Google Maps took me to an adjacent road, Common Road, which I drove up looking for the guest house. I asked a gardener who said they thought it might be next door. I drove back onto the main road and saw a small lane on the right and a sign propped against the wall showing Church Farm guest house. There was no sign for anyone coming from Abergavenny, like me. There were 2 front doors and I rang the wrong bell as there was no sign. We were told there was a dining room and when we came down for breakfast selected the one that didnt say Staff only. There was no dining room sign. Otherwise it was a lovely, quiet 2 night stay and Derek and Rosey were very kind and knowledgeable. The room was up 2 flights of narrow stairs. Fine for fit visitors. "
