Needs a update

This is a nice hotel but feels like it needs some TLC. Our bathroom and outdoor deck needed some new tile and other work done. We only stayed one night so it was OK but I would have been upset if it was the majority of our vacation or for a big event. Best way to describe was "tired"

The exterior of the hotel resembles a medieval Villa. The restaurant is excellent. The only downside is that bedroom had a broken ac, and the bathroom needs a better work regrouding around the bathtub area.

Staff is great. Location is good and peaceful, but you definitely need a car. Just be aware that there's no aircon before May, so if you get a very hot day in April for eg, you need to sleep with your windows opened.

Accueil commercial. Pour avoir fréquenté cet établissement à plusieurs reprises avec satisfaction, pour la vue le calme, attente de plus d’une heure pour la chambre pas prête à 15h, consommations offertes pour s’excuser de l’attente, mais qui m’a été facturé. Salle de bain d’un autre temps, pommeau de douche plein de calcaire, qui est tombé dans la chambre de nos amis.TV HS, aucune chaîne francophone malgré le nombre parlant cette langue dans l’hôtel personnel de la réception qui doit intervenir, lampe de chevet qui ne veut pas s’éteindre, bruit de chasse d’eau qui fuit, ascenseur en panne. Personnel de ménage sans chariot qui se promène avec des sacs en plastique fin des ménages 18h.bar décevant tant par la qualité que les prix. Réservation jacuzzi qui ne fonctionne pas température et moteur, personnel au courant. Réveillez à 6h du matin par un machine thermique pour traiter toute la végétation y compris les véhicules des clients. Transat de la piscine plus aucun pare soleil ne fonctionnent etc. Petit déjeuner banal. Le prix mais plus la prestation. Plus que décevant.

War nun zum zweiten Mal im CDH Radda und wurde wieder nicht enttäuscht. Es handelt sich um eine wunderschöne Anlage im Epizentrum des Chiantis und ist gerade für Weinliebhaber eine hervorragende Ausgangsbasis für Touren zu den Weingütern. Am Nachmittag nach der Rückkehr lädt der große Pool zum Verweilen und das Wellness Zentrum mit wirklich guten Massagen zum Entspannen ein. Das Personal ist super hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Sei es die Rezeption, die mir umgehend half vergessene Sachen zu organisieren, der Barkeeper mit guten, kompetenten Weinempfehlungen oder das Team beim Frühstück. Der Ausblick vom Zimmer und der Frühstücksterrasse ist atemberaubend. Einziger Kritikpunkt war dieses Mal mein Zimmer, das ein wenig abgenutzter erschien als der Raum letztes Jahr. Hier würde sich insbesondere das Bad über eine Renovierung freuen, auch wenn alles tadellos sauber ist. Auch würde ich mich über einen richtigen Stuhl freuen, der zum Schreibtisch passt. Angebotene Sitzmöbel im Zimmer sind in Verbindung mit dem Schreibtisch nicht geeignet. Zudem sind die Zimmer komplett mit italienischen Steckdosen ausgestattet, wer einen europäischen Schuko Stecker hat (der Dicke, Runde) braucht Adapter. Das CDH liegt 1km außerhalb von Radda und ich empfehle trotzdem mit dem Auto ins Dorf zu fahren da die Straße nachts unbeleuchtet ist und keinen Bürgersteig hat. Trotz der angeführten Optimierungspunkte wäre das CDH mein erster Anlaufpunkt wenn ich das nächste Mal ins Chianti fahre

Good but could be better

We had a nice stay at the hotel, but there are so many basic things that needs to get fixed. E.g. Wifi, there is as good as no wifi in the room nor at the pool area. Only in the reception. The pool area looks a bit worn out, a brush of paint at it would shine (plus they had construction work going on at the pool area while we were there. Having that at the most busy time of year is bad planning to me. The view from the room was looking into a big tree. If that had been cut down you would have the most beautiful view over the area. Overall it is a nice hotel, but fixing these things would make it the 4-star experience it should have been.

Smukke omgivelser i Radda in Chianti.

Hotellet ligger fantastisk i de smukke bakkede vinmarker. Vi har været på dette sted flere gange, og bliver altid godt behandlet men nu virker hotellet træt, sengene er forfærdelige, og badeværelserne trænger flere steder til at blive efterset. Parasoller er revnede og hynder på stolene udenfor er beskidte og itu. Der var for lidt personale til at servere kaffen om morgenen og rydde af. Dem der var der gjorde hvad de kunne men var ikke nok. Vi kommer ikke tilbage før hotellet igen kan leve op til et 4 **** sted. Håber hotellets ledelse læser med, tror det er vigtigt for stedets fremtid.

What view ?

We got a nice room but we paid extra for a 'balcony' expecting a beautiful view over the hills of Chianti. Instead we got a low concrete wall and a tree. Also, although the bedroom was nicely designed and presumably newly decorated, the bathroom was still in its original, old form. Plus breakfast was terrible, inedible bacon, sausage and eggs (admittedly we got there late but still they could have cooked some fresh)

Vacanza con amici a Radda

Ottimo hotel, appena fuori Radda, struttura con ampi spazi e con tutti i confort. Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo lasciato le nostre 6 e-bike in una stanza perché il parcheggio dedicato era già occupato. Cosa non scontata, ci hanno permesso di restare in piscina dopo il checkout fino a tardo pomeriggio.

Il receptionist bravissimo. Le receptionist meno propense alla disponibilità. Tutto molto bello. Camere pulite anche se sarebbe da migliorarne il comfort in generale. La spa con ingresso a piscina, sauna e bagno turco sarebbe stata perfetta ma la presenza di ospiti un po’ troppo rumorosi l’ha resa meno rilassante.
