"Love this hotel which has also had a wee upgrade since being taken over by its new owners recently but still retains its warm welcome for visitors as well as being a popular venue for locals. Parents first stayed here in 1962 and it was always a favourite for family meals out or a drink in the bar. Had a lovely warm and comfortable room and fab breakfast! Bus stop into the centre is just outside or it’s a fine walk into town or to Rosemount (just allow for the uphill on the way back 😊) So glad...

"A great gem of a hotel, this was our first visit and will return soon. The staff were really friendly and seemed happy to be there. "Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The Breakfast buffet was excellent,.. the selection was the best I have seen. The Bar staff was so friendly and service was excellent. This hotel is centrally located and ideal to travel to the many sites near by. The staff could of been more helpful when we experienced issues with our traveling companions' room entry card that needed to be re-coded several times over our 5 day stay."

"The check in process took us 3 hours in total. We were not sent the check in instructions and when we tried to call the number listed there was no one connected. After waiting 2.5 hours someone connected and when we managed to talk to her she then couldn’t get the lockbox code which took another 30 minutes "

"Nice stay. Hotel was busy so nice atmosphere at dinner and breakfast. All staff very approachable and helpful. Some works being done to upgrade the pool and spa facilities affected the make changing area."

"The stay at the park in was ok. The curtains in the room were insufficient. With daylight at 4am, the whole room was lit up and made it hard to sleep. I was going to bring up this issue at check out, but was not even asked how my stay was. See attached photos at 4am."

"Apartment is very modern and well equipped for a short stay or a long stay! Towels and bedding were of high quality, as were fixtures and fittings. Fast flowing shower and fast WiFi. The added smart features give the apartment a very premium feel. Lots of amenities nearby"

"Very nice home and property. Great value. Seems like an excellent location for visiting Aberdeen. Hosts were great. Parking was easy (and free). Only one minor issue. Our room was in the front of the house which is on a very busy street. So with our window open (it was unseasonably warm during our trip) there was quite a bit of traffic noise."

"What a beautiful place. I paid a bit extra to have river view, well worth it. Easy to get to, so very comfortable and I had an excellent dinner in their lovely restaurant."
