10/10 Excellent

"Great location with parking. Check in was smooth and the staff polite and friendly. Lovely room, super clean with all amenities you could need, towels, shower gel, kettle etc. Only down side was the light up fire exit signs on the wall next to the bed, it didn’t bother me but my other half struggled to sleep with it. We would absolutely stay again and have no qualms about recommending it. Top tip, the Turkish restaurant “Shiraz” down the road is excellent. Less than 5 minute walk, the food is delicious, amazing cocktails and the loveliest, friendliest staff I’ve come across for a long time! This has become our pre holiday tradition now."

"Room was clean, comfortable and had all the basics needed. The ensuite shower room was clean and everything worked as it should. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Location was excellent for easy access to Gatwick, only a five minute bus journey to the North Terminal. There is a good pub, less than ten minutes walk away and a petrol station/convenience store nearby. The price was also very good for a late booking. The only negative was some noise from the room next door as the walls are quite thin. Overall a good choice for a budget stay near to Gatwick."

"The room we were assigned had not been cleaned since the previous guest, but we were promptly assigned a new room when we mentioned it to the staff. The room was adequate for a night's stay on our way to Gatwick (20 mins drive to drop off the rental was easy at 7am on a Saturday) but I wouldn't want to stay any longer. The bed appeared clean but was uncomfortable - it seemed to be missing a box spring. TV was adequate, with access to streaming services. There is plenty of parking at the hotel, but I wanted to stretch my legs after arrival, so chose to walk into Reigate for dinner. It was a 30 minute (downhill) walk into town to get something to eat. The Five Spice restaurant provided excellent Chinese food, and the Uber fare was well worth it to avoid walking back up the hill!"

"Stayed a few times previously, it’s less than a 10min walk to south terminal but be aware it’s not covered if it’s raining. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was extremely comfortable. Stay was let down by the bar which seemed to have a stock issue when we were there, several of the taps not working (no indication of this like an upturned glass etc) and various bottles of wine not available. Staff on the bar were a bit surly about it but probably fed up of having to keep say “no, run out” every few minutes"

"Had a problem with the shower as there was no hot water. Husband had a cold shower but not only that but the water goes everywhere. Very nice member of staff who upgraded our room , we now had a window with hot water and a coffee machine that worked once. Still a dreadful design of the bathroom you need towels by the door!! Bloc is not cheap! It was the first time we used this hotel but would not use again unless half the price."
