  • Pinnacles Provincial Park protects a very unique formation of hoodoos. These hoodoos began their formation 12 million years ago, when molten lava flowing over the earth’s surface cooled in flat basalt layers over older layers of ash and rock. The Ice Age followed, and when the ice mass receded, melt-water streams eroded the valley below Pinnacles Park. The hoodoos are formed from the effects of this natural erosion and weathering. The basalt is eroded away, revealing the more resistant ash layer, and often producing vivid bands of color as individual basalt layers are removed. The property wa nice enough but not very clean. They had lots of construction workers there who left a lot of their stuff outside there rooms making the place look untidy. The showers were lukewarm. The good thing it was cheap to stay at. Would not stay there again.

Interesting & quiet motel. We stayed 2 nights in the motel section and it was pleasant. This is an humble, older building with antiquated furnishings, however it was clean & comfortable. The motel is located in the industrial area on the way towards Prince George, just about 5 minute drive away from Quesnel's downtown. We would stay here again next time.

Very dated property. Wood paneling throughout (circa 1970). Hollow core suite door in a dimly lighted hallway. Not really sure the smoke alarm worked. Nice guy at reception and the bed was comfortable, the room and bath were clean so I’m neutral on this motel. Probably a fair price for what I got.

Great older place

Pick this place as there was a three bed room which was great for us. Definitely older but everything was in good condition. I loved having a little kitchen. I was able to make us meals. The kids really appreciated. The pre-pr breakfast in the morning. They had bagels and cereal. Good location. Guy in the office was very nice.
