"The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather! The included breakfast was typical fare: eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/pastries, etc. As we were there for only one night, we did not take advantage of the outdoor pool or fire pit, but both appeared to be clean and well...

"The room we had was spacious, and there are nice outdoor sitting areas. Breakfast is placed in your refrigerator and in a basket the day before. If you are hoping for a charming Berkshire bed and breakfast with a cooked breakfast and interaction with your host, you will be disappointed. If you are satisfied with an unusually nice motel, you will be very happy.""

"The hotel was nice, full kitchen and quiet large for our family of four. We had a one bedroom suite, tucked into a corner of the hotel. Location was quiet, on the main floor. Pool and hot tub were nice. The sofa bed was not comfortable, at all. It would be worth the hotel replacing the sofa bed, as we could not sleep well at all and that is an important consideration for returning! One interesting thing that has nothing to do with the staff is that most of the other guests were older...

"The hotel charged 669 w posted room rate of 429 For 669 they noted that the hot water capacity was challenged when hotel was at 100% capacity Also our toilet ran and we had to open up tank to adjust this was for 669/ night It should be adjusted to the max rate of 429 that was on room inside door"

"If you just need a place to sleep after a Tanglewood performance, it is very convenient and the price is right. It is very “tired” though."

"GFI in bathroom was inoperative. Room had no Smoke detector. Bathroom exhaust seemed to be blocked. Bathroom door does not close. Main entry door hits the floor. Overall conditions seemed to be shabby."

"The hotel is easy to find. It is clean, neat, and tidy. We checked in early - great! My one concern is the 800 grit sandpaper for toilet paper. Motel 6 uses better toilet paper. Unfortunately, the bean counters won. They have a great price on toilet paper, and the property suffers as a result. Everyone and everything was great. The toilet paper was from the 1950's - honest. Sorry to have to report this. Hopefully, this will get someon's attention."
