Very well maintained, clean, cozy and very europeans style. Walkable to all attractions. The host is very hospitable and accommodating best of all served us with delicious breakfast. If you come to Quebec stay in this place highly recommended.

Quaint, quiet historical building with character and charm. Our room was small, but included a private balcony seating and dining area. Delicious freshly cooked egg-based offerings each day, in addition to wide variety of continental breakfast items and fresh fruits. Cooked egg offerings during 3 day our stay were scrambled eggs, crepes, and ham and veggie omelette. Excellent location on a quiet street, yet steps from all the major tourist sights and various cafes, restaurants and shops. Comfortable bed and firm pillows. Would stay again.

Front entrance was difficult to manage with luggage. No check in required or help offered with navigation around the city. No nearby parking. Tiny room & breakfast was at a minimum. Staff member Victoria was very courteous & was reason to make my review 3 stars instead of 2. For $200/ night … in the shoulder season too… I would have expected much more.

The B&B is a good value for the location. Room 1 was large, clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfast that had a nice variety of fruit and cereal in addition to the eggs/crepes that were cooked to order. Parking is a challenge, and were very lucky that a public spot was available at SPAQ Maison with entry on Rue Haldimand where we were able to leave the car for 3 days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the B&B de la Fontaine.

Beautiful heritage home with old world charm and walking distance to local shops. Our roof rack didn’t fit in the suggested parking so we parked on the street close by. We couldn’t stay for breakfast but it looked delicious and was a wonderful offering. Would stay again :)

Great position. Quirky, interesting building. V steep stairs to our tiny room which had no electric jug, no cups, no cutlery no teabags, nothing. When l asked for access to breakfast room, this was refused. On 2nd morning, no breakfast just a note that guy was sick & a refund would be given. There should’ve been a backup plan.

Great stay! The hotel is in a perfect location, making it easy to explore the area. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, and we really appreciated being allowed to check in early, which made our trip much more enjoyable after a long journey. The only minor issue was that the bathroom blind couldn’t close properly, which affected privacy a little. Other than that, everything was excellent.

The place was clean and convenient. It was a converted home so be aware that the bathroom was very narrow and the shower was tiny. Breakfast was very good and the bed was comfortable.

Place is walking distance to upper town and the old town. However we really had a bad experience with not getting the room we booked. I have included photos. We booked the room with balcony but was given the ground floor room. Breakfast was included in the package but there was a notice that the staff is sick and unable to do breakfast. They had noted to expect a $20.00 refund / per day for breakfast. We emailed the b&b but we never received the credit. Terrible management.

Never received an email prior to check-in, so was originally unable to access the property. Once we got into our room we found that there was old food, and used insulin needles in the fridge. When we went out for the day the next day, we put the sign on our door to request the room be cleaned (as we were concerned by what we found in the fridge). When we came back the sign had been turned around but the room was never cleaned Otherwise a great location in the heart of old Quebec City for a fair price.

Location was great, having a pull out couch worked really well for us. There was an issue with the water when we arrived, but they were great at communicating and fixed it really quickly.. Once we figure out where the free breakfast was, it was great as well. Nice to have fresh fruit and cooked to your request eggs without having to go find a place to sit. And allow us to spend more. Time doing other things. Would definitely stay again. We were lucky enough to find some free parking nearby but otherwise I wasn’t sure where to park..

Well located in Old Quebec. Breakfast was cereal, fruits, toast, juice, coffee/tea and usually a cooked egg or plain crepes. Internet bandwidth wasn’t able to support streaming for 2 of our 5 nights. Water was turned off temporarily for unknown reasons for 2 of the nights for a short period of time. Host came to check if water was ok, but it had come back on by that time.

Location, location, location! Literally a 3 min walk to Chateau Frontenac! After we parked the car in the City Hall lot, we did not need to move the car until checkout because we could easily walk everywhere! It was a hot week when we were there, but the portable A/C in the room kept us cool. Yes, the room is compact but it had everything we needed: a clean washroom, a small bar fridge, a closet and dresser. Shoutout to Jeremy who made the most perfect eggs for us in the morning. ❤️ I will definitely return.

This is a unique property in a very convenient location. We really enjoyed our experience as we appreciate non traditional venues. The proprietor was very nice and even allowed us to access our room earlier than check in since it was available. The stairs to the second floor are steep and narrow, so a traveler with physical limitations would need to stay on the first floor.
