"The staff at La Perla were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.
The room was very clean but basic and more African style rather than modern which for me was the attraction.
The pool area is extremely clean and there’s plenty of sun beds both around it and on the beach.
Food is the restaurant is very decent and doesn’t cost the earth. The view of the beach from the restaurant is amazing. The resort doesn’t sell alcohol but the restaurant next door does if that’s important to you."

"Our stay at Diamonds Mapenzi Beach had several positive aspects. The location is good, the pool area is nice, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay.
That said, there are a few points worth being aware of. The rooms appear more worn in reality than the pictures suggest, which detracts from the overall impression. "My wife and I found a little bit of paradise at Royal Mandarin Resort! Very very nice property. We booked this room for five nights following our Serengeti Safari in the hope of some beach relaxation. We got that and so much more!"

"Wir haben sechs schöne Tage in diesem kleinen, charmanten Boutique-Hotel verbracht. Wir wohnten im wunderschönen und gepflegten Altbau. Unser Zimmer Nummer 8 hatte direkten Meerblick und eine riesige Terrasse mit Tisch, Stühlen, Außenbett mit Moskitonetz, Außendusche und direktem Zugang zum Strand.
