"We felt very safe during our stay, and the owner’s husband was incredibly friendly and helpful. He assisted with arranging tours and transportation, which made our visit much easier. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the coffee was some of the best we’ve had. The main areas and outdoor facilities are showing their age and could benefit from updates and improvements. Breakfast was also a bit disappointing compared to the rest of the experience. One unexpected issue for us was the large number of cats on the property. As non-cat people, finding a cat in our room one evening and seeing cats around the breakfast area was not ideal. Overall, the hospitality was great, and with some facility updates and a few small improvements, this could be an even better experience."

"Great daily breakfast! The hotel is under renovation (nearly complete). Avoid rooms on the main floor (no view and depressing). Second floor is better but the third floor is nice. Terrace. No elevator though. Overall, good value for San Cristobal."

"We had a great and enjoyable stay at Golden Bay Galapagos. The room was meticulously cleaned with very comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent as you can walk to everything, restaurants, beaches and entertainment. They have the best cocktails in Galapagos. Look for those freshly made pizzas in the evening. Thank you to an amazing staff We will absolutely return to Golden Bay Galapagos."

"Located just a short walk from the main ferry dock and very close to playa Mann. The roof top views of the town and ocean are incredible. We had a balcony with a hammock facing the ocean. It was a pleasure to get to know the owner, Eduardo. He was extremely welcoming and helpful and made a delicious breakfast."

"I would not stay here again and would not recommend it. The girl at check in was all attitude, we waited a few minutes after she finished with the folks before us and never got a "welcome" we had to beg to have the hot tub warm finally after a day she turned it on and then she tried to scam us for $41 telling us we damaged the sheets and they couldn't clean them. They had not tried cleaning them when this conversation happened (10 minutes after we checked out). I have since discovered she has gotten my CC from Expedia and charged me $68. The bathroom had only cold water at the sink and the fixtures look like they came out of a gas station bathroom. The tile work needs to be re-done or at least cleaned. there was good water pressure and hot water at shower. While we were there you could not sit by the pool because of the grinding on metal and welding being done to the railing, besides the neighborhood children that took over the pool. BFast was fair but not till 7 am which is problem if you have an early boat trip. San Cristobal is a nice town, stay somewhere better."
