"Overall staff were/are amazing. Be careful of the beachside bars if ordering food and you have a gluten allergy. Not all waiters understood the issue and ordering was difficult. The finer dining restaurant servers are well versed in food intolerance/allergies and the meals were/are amazing. Everyone, from check in to gardeners to bartenders were friendly and strived to make our stay amazing."
Majestic Mirage Punta Cana, All Suite Resort - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was all very friendly. We had a butler assigned to us that made sure all of our needs were met and fulfilled, including reservations to the in-house restaurants that required it, spa reservations, and the on the beach romantic dinner. He checked on us several times a day to make sure all was fine. His name was Wilber, request him! Also, the made our room and brought fresh towels at least twice a day. Quality liquor everywhere. Many bars with easy access, and self serve bars at snake locations. Plenty of Cabanas and beach chairs. I couldn’t believe it. No fighting or going early for chairs or cabanas. They have more pools than I could count. Besides the main pool, there are numerous other large pools on the property. All very clean! The common areas are all large and spacious, open air on the sides and a nice breeze."
"POCs BEWARE: Stayed at this resort for a week and only had one day that was good. This resort and staff catered more to white guests. I paid for a the Excellence club package which included beach side service. Of the four hours I was at the beach area not one member of the staff offered me a drink, beach towel etc. I had to get up and get my drinks the only time a member of the staff checked in on me was when I already had a drink. I complained to the concierge desk they were not helpful. I put a do not disturb sign on my door as I was changing into my swim suit the maid comes into my room. Thankfully I stopped her in time or she would have seen me in my birthday suit. I accidentally cut myself shaving pretty deep and called the front desk for a band aid for the staff to tell me they don’t am have any band aids I had to buy them in the gift shop. Thankfully the spa had a band aid that when I called to reschedule my appointment because I was bleeding the staff at the spa was kind enough to give me a couple bandaids. The staff at the Grill restaurant were so rude and did not seem like they wanted to wait on me but for the white guests I observed they got better treatment and kinder service. Overall this always a terrible experience and def not relaxing. If you are a person of color stay away from this resort. PC has other resorts you can spend your money at. This was such a waste of money I would never return. Horrible treatment and experience."
