"My 8 and 10 years old boys loved the resort. They enjoyed the big trampolines, indoor pool and playing tennis. It’s so family friendly. We had breakfast at cafe in the town to save money, but the breakfast buffet at the resort was cheaper."

"The room was surprisingly large and spacious with a separate bedroom and bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and good quality bedding. The bathroom clean and modern with good water pressure. The grounds are like a nature reserve with a myriad of wildlife which really makes feel like your on a country getaway. It was my 2nd stay at Banksia and I will return again. "

"I arrived at 4.30pm and my room was not ready. I waited and it took nearly 2 hours before the room was ready. The staff member could not locate my room or provide access to the kitchen. The amenities were not clean and the room assigned to me belonged to a lodger, whose personal belongings were in the room. The accommodation was noisy until 1am in the morning so I barely got any sleep. There were cobwebs galore on the windows and the fly screen was broken and I could not turn the power point off...

"Spacious, modern and clean. We stayed in an upstairs unit which had a nice garden and rural outlook. We were met by the host who provided great tips on things to see and where to eat. We only stayed one night (to see the penguins) and it was very comfortable and good value."

"This property is really great, with great room and all the amenities such as cups, milk, tea cattle. They also have someone on property 24/7 which was great as well. Everything was outstanding except they didn’t provide disposable slippers. If they can provide disposable slippers that would be great as well. Otherwise everything else was provided including Iron and iron stand. Every room has their designated parking space so no issues for parking at all."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly like the photos, which was a great relief after a long travel day. The location was perfect — an easy walk into town for food and drinks, and just a short stroll to the beach. Super convenient and made our stay really relaxing. Would happily stay again!"

"Had an excellent stay here. Very clean, well furnished.Check in was very easy after instructions emailed before hand. Super comfy bed with modern large flatscreen tv. I like the secure parking underneath also. I would gladly enjoy a cool drink from my balcony at The Waves anytime."
