"Edwardian splendour Balcony needs attention and really good bathroom products are difficult to use in the shower as they don’t dispense properly which is a shame Would stay again as it’s a hotel with great character "

"It was fantastic! Honestly I cannot fault it, the only thing I’d suggest is a thin mattress topper so that you can’t feel the buttons on the mattress. Staff were lovely, everything in the room you could want. I appreciated the little bottle of semi skimmed milk in the fridge, and bottles of water!"

The breakfast buffet bar simply groaned with a huge range of cold food and drinks and there was a good menu for cooked alternatives. "Have to say I was super impressed with this inn. First off, the rooms aren’t big but they are comfortable and the bathrooms are big for England. The bed linens were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Would come back for those alone but really the best part of the entire stay was the staff. Specifically David and Anja.
