"Too many minor issues with our room such as a broken shower head, carpet tacks sticking out of carpet, two single beds joined together but advertised as a extra large double bed, broken phone and kettle etc, reduced the enjoyment of our stay. I would not stay here again"

"Nice location a few km out of Rotorua. The park-like grounds are a bit odd with the Alice in Wonderland themed art, but peaceful and with nice views of the lake in the distance. The rooms are well appointed but have zero soundproofing: you will hear your neighbors snore and chat, and doors are so flimsy you hear everything going on in the common areas. Bring your best earplugs. Breakfast is decent, service can be slow. Tiny outdoor pool and two nice hot tubs. Maintenance is hit and miss: rooms...

"Place was a dump. Toilet didn’t work properly, television didn’t work, remote needed batteries, wifi didn’t work properly. The food menu wasn’t even close to the pictures on line. It was run down and was a disaster. We paid for two nights but checked out after one. Only positive was Claire the manager. "

"This is the place that we want to come again... we arrived with a very bad weather so the warm water at the pool was so relaxing... laundry area was clean and our room is beach front so even with a storm the view is amazing! We stayed for 3 nights, room was clean, our mini kitchen is full of all the utensil that we need... comfy beds and shower is really good. "Rented this place because i wanted prive laundry and the expedia price was an absolute steal. We had a cozy 2 story condo on the canal. We did laundry, cooked dinner on the grill, drank wine and fed the ducks. It was a great stay. Only knock is the a/c only works downstairs. It was quite warm upstairs until we opened all the windows. May not work out well if it's raining "

"Vehicle access to the building from the street is very tight if there are cars parked on the other side of the road from the entrance. I have quite a large vehicle and had to back /forward several times to get in - and nearly gave up."
