A little off the beaten path which suits us fine. The staff were wonderful. We had a spacious 2 bed 2 bath with full kitchen. Definitely not walkable to the center of Puerto Vallarta. Amazing views and nice pool and jacuzzi on the 7th floor. Property is a bit older, but clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Love,y view atop the hotel, on pool deck, although pool was quite chilly, not too large. Hot tub was quite hot, nice in the a,m. Had a very small room, might be a idea to turn off the sound of elevator buttons, so can’t hear them hear them from that room,

The Good Large suites with amazing views. Very spacious and relatively inexpensive. Service from the staff was good. Sergio was the only English speaking staff so had to use translation programs a lot. They were helpful though and patient as we communicated. The not so good Older hotel. Needs some upgrades and renovations. Balcony Jacuzzi did not heat up. Rooftop pools are tiny. Main pools are not working.

The service was wonderful! Very kind staff! The room was spacious and the pool and hot tub on the top floor gave amazing views! The restaurant next door provided a very nice dining experience as this particular hotels restaurant has been closed since Covid. Amazing views! Best choice ever!!

The views are spectacular however the property is high up in the hills, if you have a car it won't be an issue, if you do not, you will require to travel by taxy at all times. The staff were superb and really gave you the feeling that nothing was too much trouble and they were there to help in any way. Jorge is incredibly efficient, friendly and has an outstanding customer service attitude. Highly recommended.

The worst hotel, when I arrived my room was not ready and it was 1 am in the morning , my check in time was 3 pm , the receptionist placed me in a different room and let me know that they will switch me next day, I asked them, does this mean I have wait for you and missed all my activities ?, they said yes because you need to change , I let them know that I was leaving early and not coming back until later. When I came back they moved me to a different room the bed gave allergy I was scratching all night along with my houseband and couldn't sleep all night. When I check out they told me that the terminal was not working so I wasted another hour so they figured out the system. It's not the first time I stayed here but because the hotel has a beautiful view And I thought maybe they were having a bad day , but not this hotel is a mess, no to mention the manager was a jerk.

Great overnight stay. We did choose an economy room without a view. But it was clean and very comfortable and we spent most of our time on the beautiful rooftop. The views were beautiful and pool and hot tub area was perfect after a long day of site seeing.

This is a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Puerto Vallarta city centre. Located on the mountain top overlooking the south end and Romantico area. You can walk to the Romantico area in under 30 minutes and the Malecon boardwalk in under 45 minutes. We used Uber & taxis frequently. 120 pesos from the hotel to the Malecon. The panoramic studio we had was wonderful and has a fantastic view of the mountains and ocean (603A) My wife and I absolutely love the small rooftop pool and hot tub. Relaxing there with drink in hand was amazing. Jorge was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Very friendly fellow who is willing to assist in any way. My wife and I absolutely recommend Hotel Mondavi. And you’ll love their daily rates!!

Good value for the least expensive room with no view. Enjoyed the roof top pool and hot tub and great views from there . Clean and bathroom worked well . Friendly staff also. I didn't have any issues getting Uber rides either which some people stated . Also if you don't feel like going down the hill there is restaurant next door

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Mondavi in Puerto Vallarta and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The location of the hotel is unbeatable, right in the hills of concha chinas and just a short & cheap Uber away from some of the best restaurants and attractions. The room was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was always available to answer any questions I had and offer suggestions for things to do in the area. I particularly loved the rooftop pool and hot tub, which offered breathtaking views of the city and the ocean. Overall, my experience at Hotel Mondavi was nothing short of fantastic. The staff's attention to detail and commitment to making sure their guests have a great stay really sets this hotel apart from the rest. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and magical stay in Puerto Vallarta.

They’re still a work in progress but there is NO better value in Puerto Vallarta. Rooms are really good. Beds are very comfy. No restaurants there but there is one literally right next door. Views are incredible. Once they get up to par, they will be more than twice the price

Hotel Mondavi is a really nice property, that has some character and is well maintained. Our one-bedroom suite was very large and the views from our deck were fantastic! The roof top pool, hot tub and surrounding area offered even better views.

Beautiful "old world" mexican charm with modern updates. Booked last minute due to a missed flight. Views are amazing. Pool and hot tub are descent- great to relax, views are one of a kind. Comfortable updated clean rooms. Accommodating Staff. Top of a cliff so I recommend Taxi for anything other than a neighborhood walk (breathtaking and SAFE)!

Room was clean and with a very nice ocean view, Staff is very friendly and helpful. This Hotel is in Conchas Chinas on top of a hill, this will give you a beautiful view of the Banderas Bay from the roof top pool. however it will be difficult to access the hotel by walking. Be aware that you will need a taxi or rent a car to access it.

Luxury at an amazing cost. An excellent small hotel perched far above Puerto Vallarta's busy beach scene. Quiet and super well furnished with complete American quality kitchens. This is the flip side to the lower end spartan hotel rooms in the Romantic Zone. Visit the beach areas and party there maybe, but stay up here in the hills here for your quiet and intimate times. We paid only about $55 a night which compares highly favorably with the extremely modest or worn acomodations of many of the Romatic Zone's non-beach locations.

Peace, Quiet, and the best views in PV
If you're looking for a happening bar or finger-popping nightlife, this ain't the one - but all that is just 10-15 minutes away. If you're looking for a quiet single or couples' get-away with friendly, accommodating service and views that take your breath away, choose Hotel Mondavi. Just plan ahead for dinner, because it may not be available, and vegans/vegetarians will be out-of-luck, but the rooms have kitchenettes with fridges and microwaves, so you can bring your viddles with you. You won't want to leave your room anyway.. [Note: A home is being built directly in front of the property, so daytime construction noise will likely carry through May or June 2020. It is quiet inside the rooms, though, and if you're on the rooftop, you simply won't care.].

The view was off the charts, from the balcony you could see far out to the ocean, the hillsides and bays north and south, and the landscape below. The room was beautiful, the bed so comfortable and the amenities classy yet reasonable. The infinity pool was spectacular. Staff were so friendly and helpful always, especially the manager. They were willing to help out in any way. I loved it there and it was the best stay of my vacation.

Almost hilltop way above the coast, the view of the entire Banderas Bay and PV is incomparable. Good sized building ,mostly private condos, with about 10 rooms/condos that act as hotel. Extremely quiet area of private hillside homes-almost no traffic. Minimal breakfast and lunch available by the rooftop pool-you will likely have it all to yourself. Next door to a larger 5 star hotel with all day food options, otherwise it's down the hill by taxi or car for everything. I would stay again!

It was so quiet and so amazing! We enjoyed every bit of our stay here.. special thanks to Sergio, Diego and Jorge for being so kind and always going out of their way to please us. Sergio gave us rides to the Malecon when we needed it. Amazing place to rest away from all the fuzz and with the most beautiful views! we will forever be grateful to the staff including the cleaning lady was so nice and very professional. The pool has a beautiful view too! we sometimes didn't want to leave our hotel lol we do recommend renting a car next time or using the Uber App to go to and from the hotel. Do not use taxis they charged us double what an uber charged us until we spoke to Sergio and he informed us about uber and also they will call an uber for you if needed. Thank you Mondavi staff for the wonderful experience!! we will definitely come back! hasta pronto!!

Beautiful, clean hotel with great service!
Was a great place to stay and I will definitely stay there again. AC was very cold the first 2 days, then had problems but they fixed it right away. The owner was very accomodating. Conchas Chinas is very quiet and the views are breathtaking. Only 5-7 minutes drive to main beaches, shopping, and Malecon. Mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster and microwave in room makes it convenient since the restaurant was not open due to low season. Restaurant at the hotel next door was very good! Owner was not at desk 24/7 but lives on site and can be reached anytime if you need something. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It felt like a private villa. It's also pet friendly and we brought our kitten and they were very understanding about not entering the room so he wouldn't escape!

The hotel looks much better in person. The staff was very accommodating. Quiet and secluded. Rooms were large and clean. Will definately return.
