Top Puerto Vallarta Hotel Reviews
Melia Puerto Vallarta - All inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Hector was amazing. Very friendly, helpful, welcoming and went above and beyond for our group. The swim up bar was great, bartender Christian treated us very well. We had a great time."
Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel & Romantic Getaway
10/10 Excellent
"We really appreciate Christian. He is the best server!"
Villa del Palmar Beach Resort and Spa, Puerto Vallarta
8/10 Good
"Large pool was amazing - had a small/steep waterslide. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchenettes (2 burners) and supplies were sufficient for cooking and saving leftovers. The poolside service (drinks, food) were great - tip them well! Be ready to have staff sell you a timeshare from the moment you walk through the security gate to the front desk, and at the beachside chairs. They will be nice but you will have to decline over and over. (This is no different than other resorts in the area) There were a lot of kids even in the off-season. My main compliant was people bringing their own speakers and played music that were not to my taste at all at levels that I found to be distracting while trying to relax poolside. Bring your noise-cancelling headphones!"
Buenaventura Grand Hotel & Great Moments - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing staff and great amenities. Property is clean and well maintained. Resort is within walking distance to downtown Puerto Vallarta with varieties of street food, farmacias, local and convenience stores. Food was decent, service was attentive and family friendly. Definitely would recommend."
Playa Los Arcos Hotel Beach Resort & Spa
8/10 Good
"Nice place! Needs some TLC but overall we had a great time!"
Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta
8/10 Good
"Me gustó pero el echo de que sea un hotel híbrido de todo incluido a la carta fue confuso para mi ya que según yo reverse el todo incluido y no fue así pero aprendí de mi error"
Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel & Mexican Charm - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"It was a very good experience; the staff was amazing. I recommend this place if you are looking for an authentic Mexican experience."
Hotel Tropicana - Near Olas Altas Street
8/10 Good
"Bed was very hard. Beach beautiful. No real resort amenities not sure why they charge a resort fee: the room card on your wrist gets really nasty fast. I’d stay again but the entire 9days they didn’t change the sheets. They just kept remaking the bed. Also you have to check out an iron and they don’t give wash clothes. Not a resort more of a hotel. Otherwise not bad."
Velas Vallarta Suites Resort All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Our stay was pretty good. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The property was well maintained and the food was very good. Unfortunately we went during low season and it was quieter than we hoped for our kiddo to find a kid to play with and the Kids Club seemed very quiet. The pool is nice but not so kid friendly (like lots of places to socialize but not necessarily for kids fun with a slide or splash area). The room was very nice (well decorated, plenty of space, all the details accounted for) but the bed was pretty hard for our liking. One thing I loved about our stay, the resort collects olive ridley sea turtle nests to protect them from predators on the beach then releases them into the bay when they hatch, so I saw that one morning."
