Nice pool area & great service

One Manalo

Friendly courteous staff. Nice gym & pool. Airport transport not reliable, 30 minutes late. Included breakfast buffet need some improvement ( cooked foods not warm & selection limited). Bath towels are very old & worn out, almost rags. Shower in bathroom has poor design ( prone to flooding bathroom floor since shower door don’t fully shut & shower floor has no barrier with bathroom floor).

Good location

Was only here one night prior to heading to ElNido. Convenient to airport & other restaurants, bed was comfy. Pool looked nice but didn’t have time to enjoy it. Airport transport provided

Bed bugs and drainage issues

I was bitten by bed bugs! The bathroom was not cleaned properly. Water in shower was not draining properly that it flows out to toilet area.

The breakfast wasn't bad at all. There weren't many people staying at the hotel so it was quiet, but the rooms left much to be desired. Don't be fooled by the pictures, my room looked like a college dorm room.

Hotel reception staff are not overly helpful and would say they do the minimum to help and come across quite abrupt/rude - this is definitely not extended to all staff as the porters and staff in the restaurant were great! Air con in our room was leaking down the wall at 1am in the morning, contacted reception who fixed this by placing towels on the floor- probably not the safest resolution. Shower wasn’t very powerful and I had to ring reception twice to request a safety deposit box for the room which was advised as a standard facility but was not in the room upon arrival. WiFi isn’t the best also. In comparison to other hotels I saw at Puerto Princesa this hotel is of a higher standard and if I was to return I would more than likely stay there for that reason only. Hotel also charged us 750 pesos for transport to El Nido when the standard price is 500 pesos.

We stayed one night before we went to spend almost one week in EL Nido. Our first night was great however our second stay was not as good as the first one. We got a room with no wifi as there is a part of the hotel which has not wifi. Furthermore it’s incredibly noisy at night as it’s the room closer to the reception and the party place outside. We asked to the lady to change our room but are request was fully ignored.

When we arrived to Puerto Princesa the hotel offered a free transfer van from the airport to the hotel. They were all very nice and helpful and they helped us to book a van to go to El Nido.

Nice hotel

Love the pool and the gym.. two things that i complained about was the slow wifi connection.. and they should put some fridge in the standard rooms but overall my experience was great.. will definitely go back.

Below average Hotel

Rooms were very simple and outdated. Bathrooms, leaked water badly from shower area. Also you can hear everyone from your bathroom vent opening and they can hear you. Curtains in room smelled terribly giving the whole room a musty mildew smell, twin beds were very tiny. Free breakfast was simple but adequate in a rather pleasant restaurant setting. Pool was ok and well maintained by staff, and the staff was very friendly and courteous. I could not recommend this hotel to anyone due to the fact rooms just not up to a good enough standard

Great hotel with friendly staff

The hotel is located only a few mins from Puerto Princesa airport. Convenient location as there are a few good restaurants within walking distance. The staff was friendly as well and helped us book nice day tours to the most wonderful beaches we've ever been to. The breakfast included pancakes and eggs of your choice upon order so i personally liked that. Hotel was clean and nice. If we return to Palawan again, we will definitely return to One Manalo Place.

A quiet place to stay

Staff are very friendly and accomodating. I like all the features of the rooms. It was clean, comfortable. Bars and massage are within the premises. I will recommend and go back to this hotel.

Nice and quiet location in the heart of the city

Great customer-service, courteous staff. If you are looking for a decent accommodation on a budget while visiting PP. this is it. It is in a very convenient location very close to restaurants and just a two-minute drive from the airport.

First Stay at One Manalo Place

Only stayed one night, but highly recommend the hotel. Buffet breakfast was of limited choice; however, food was very good. Grass areas around swimming pools badly need attention. Mostly dirt and many cigarette butts laying on the ground outside our room. Bathroom needs hooks for clothes and robes, none in our bath.

Nice modern small hotel in Puerto Princessa.

There is not much in terms of comfortable hotels in PP but One Manolo Place fits the bill. A small modern and relatively stylish hotel fairly close to the airport but not noisy. It has a little restaurant but we only had breakfast there which was fine. The hotel is a 15 minute tricycle ride from the centre of town but there are several nice restaurants close by and a lively little bar on the square outside. Pool is nice but not much shade around the pool. If you are only in PP for a couple of days and don`t want a backpacker hotel, this is perfect.

Nice hotel, good find.

The hotel staff was very helpful accommodating. They arranged a scooter rental which was delivered to the hotel for us. Breakfast was good. Hotel was quiet even though it was busy. They allowed us to leave our luggage there early as we arrived hours before check in. Every staff member greeted us with a smile each time we were passed on walkways. There is a lounge with a nice glowing outdoor seating area directly beside the hotel, and live musical entertainment as well as two other decent restaurants who were welcoming to westerners nearby. Tricycles are always waiting and available outside the hotel. Shower leaked into bathroom a little bit leaving a soggy floor towel every time. Pool gets a fair amount of sun all day long until early evening. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

One Manalo- Great stay in

stayed here for 3 nights with family. Hotel service was good, was able to book underground river tour thru hotel with other tours available to book. Hotel has nice features, free wifi and gym with a nice amount of various workout equipment and nice pool facilities. It's not right in the town but very accessible to restaurants and has a spa offering massage services along with a few bars right in front of the hotel along with numerous eateries that are very close. We were very happy with our stay at One Manalo Place

Hotel does not disappoint

For the price, One Manalo did not disappoint and was able to delivery on its promised amenities. The room was clean, the pool was relaxing, breakfast was not bad, and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was great as it was just a 10-minute drive from the airport. The only real downside to the hotel would be its wifi connection as it kept on coming and going. Otherwise, our stay at this hotel was perfect.

Poor internet & awful toilet

Had to transfer rooms because there was no wifi signal. However, there was still poor internet speed where we transferred to. To make matters worse, they transferred us to a room with a very, very, awful smelling toilet. They told us after that they had sewerage problems before which made me think why would they even transfer us there!

very nice modern hotel near airport

Very nice hotel with a nice pool. Staff was beyond amazing and great at responding to our needs. Restaurant was great with lots of good options. Breakfast was the best! Different breakfast everyday was awesome! Other than the ant problem (which was taken care of right away) this place was great!
