For your booking, it is true that you booking was for a basic room with a shared bathroom, for verification, you can look at your booking confirmation, or also call customer service regarding this. You also didn't pay any additional price like you are claiming since you went to El Nido and the management upgraded your budget room to a private room instead. Also, the tour guide only have your wife's name, as you know, your booking was under YOUR name. We asked the guide for another name, but she didn't have any. We also gave her your room number upon her return, so I don't think there is any problem. Next time please look at the room details before booking it, don't just book it because it's cheap.
