"The hotel was located in the downtown area which is different from many of the other hotels. It gave us a better feeling for the town and it seemed less touristic. The town is small with limited things to do with the exception of the falls. There are several great restaurants (with reservation) within walking distance. Hotel was clean and comfortable, with amenities, including onsite restaurant with buffet breakfast. Would recommend this hotel in the downtown area."

"This lodge we gave 5 stars due to its unique connection to the environment and its long history of providing service in Iguaçu. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The room were clean we appointed and very comfortable for a couple or a family of four if the children and younger. The pools were fabulous the restaurant was too. We don’t like to compare but for the cost and close proximity to the Argentina Parque Nacionale or to go to the Brazil side this place is hard to beat. The lodge has been around for 50 years we hope it’s around for another 50!"
