The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is well located in Puerto Iguazú and within reasonable walking distance to shops and restaurants and the lobby and pool and common areas are pleasant and in good condition. The rooms are somewhat dated and basic and in need of an update - older carpets, some peeling wall paper, old bath tubs but a good shower. No water except from minibar and one carton on arrival and no tea or coffee in the room. Overall, the rooms were not consistent with the hotel star rating. Quality of food at breakfast and dinner was basic and not high quality. Liked the lively downtown area which gave us a nice and alternative break from the beautiful falls.
