Loved our stay

We loved this place. It is very clean and well-kept. The service was outstanding. The location is perfect. The beach and the main strip are a 2-minute walk away from the hotel. The hotel is close to all the attractions but far away enough for privacy and noise avoidance.

Beautiful Hotel. Everything is nearby like restaurants, bars, supermarkets and of course the Beach is 2 minutes walk. The staff is lovely and the best. They take care about you, your room, the pool and the garden that’s why I loved Gallo Del Mar so much. It’s clean and the pool is wonderful. Cold and great size. I enjoyed especially in afternoon the garden because of the beautiful palms and shaddow. It’s kind of oasis in puerto Escondido. Defently I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay in a special hotel in puerto Escondido.

Friendly staff but far too overpriced

Nice little hideaway just two roads from the beach. Great location! Friendly staff. However, way too overpriced for the service they offer. No breakfast, no restaurant, no bar. Pool couldn't be used the first two days as it needed to be cleaned. No complimentary water in the room, no minibar, no desk, chairs or proper wardrobe. No hot water. They tried to fix it, but was still not working. Luckily the weather was great, so a cold shower was also fine. We appreciated the late check-out for another two hours and the massage they organized for us in the room.

El hotel es bonito pero sencillo para 4500 pesos la noche esta sencillo! Tuve problemas con cucarachas gigantes desde el día uno entiendo el tema de eco hotel pero al día siguiente del techo caen cucarachas gigantes y le cayó a mi esposa en la espalda ! A la tercera noche otra ves en la cama ! Si lo que busca la gente es un encuentro cercano con cucarachas este hotel es la opinión ! No lo recomendó ya que dormir con la sensación de esos insectos en tu cuerpo y cayendo del techo es horrible ! Y en la teja o techo toda la noche se escuchan cómo caminan !
