"We got in earlier than check in time and staff was friendly and let us store our luggage in the office. They gave us towels to take to either beach or pool. We opted to go to the beach. When we returned to check in around 8pm, and get our room it was a quick process. Upon entering our room there was water on the floor. My guess is maybe from the mop. "Beautiful property, I would definitely go back. The only con is that it is far from town accessible by a dirt road. Not complaining, this makes the place so special, however you need to either buy plenty of groceries for your entire stay on your way from the airport (which is what we did), or depend entirely on the one restaurant on-site. "We read reviews on this place re:their unfriendliness, & after staying here, we found these reviews to be true. The staff is not friendly! The staff in the restaurant/bar are not only unfriendly, but they made us feel uncomfortable. They would look at us & whisper amongst themselves & laugh all while looking at us. So uncomfortable! Front desk staff were barely friendly. Based on the rude, unfriendly & somewhat condescending attitude from the staff, we would not stay here again. "
