Not a clean hotel!
This hotel needs a lesson in cleanliness. While it's a budget hotel, cleanliness should be priority! I should have taken pictures. I found my bed and pillows to be full of hairs, as if the sheets had never been changed. I had to thoroughly go through the bed and remove all the hairs with tissue paper. Thankfully, I travel w/ Lysol wipes. Upon lifting the toilet seat I could see splashes of pee and poop that had not been properly cleaned. The AC unit was placed above the doorframe of the room to the bathroom. I kept getting splashed on by the leaky AC every time I walked in/out of the bathroom. The walls were stained with water drop lines that the AC had made over the months/years. The room was dusty, you can tell the daily cleaning is very minimal and the room needs a new good coat of paint, the shower door has mold, one of the lights in the bathroom kept failing when i turned it on, it would flicker for the first few tries until it would finally kick in and stay on. I had to leave my storage stored and i noticed that their storage area are cabinets next to the front desk but available to anyone, they have keyholes but they are not locking them. If they ever have to step away from the front desk, anyone from the street can walk in and take your belongings because they were not properly locking the cabinets. That's a big no-no! This hotel looks very nice in the pictures and externally but it's a different story once you enter the room.

The place is smaller than the picture showed . We tried to rest and was imposible,the AC was doing a terrible noise. And during the day was more difficult because of the employees talking loud.

Free continental breakfast is coffee (Too bad no free refills on the coffee), pan dulce and 1 small plate of fresh fruit. It is all served to you by hotel staff. They have it really controlled. Location is amazing, close to everything. Great restaurants around. Front staff could be a little bit more cheerful. We were there for about a week and not once did they smile or try to make small talk😅 the staff upstairs were a littttttle bit more pleasant...but that's even twisting my arm😆

We had a pleasant stay at "Hotel Sofia", Friendly Staff, walking distance to the center and good value for money. The only thing is that the WiFi didn't work at all, and inside the hotel there wasn't a good phone signal either.

Avoid this hotel at all costs!
I have never had a worse experience with a hotel in my life. I am not sure words can capture the frustration I have experienced, but I will sure try! First, the hotel has a policy that if you don't check in by 5:00, they cancel your reservation and make your room available. After a full day of traveling, I arrived to the hotel at 8:00 and was told my reservation was cancelled and no rooms were available. They made no apologies, no attempt to help, and couldn't explain why they did not honor the reservation. The staff I dealt with were rude and lacked both knowledge and skill. Of course, all the hotels in the area were full. These people left me on the street with nowhere to go. Secondly, the service is just terrible. Incredulous at how I had been treated, I returned several days later to speak with the hotel manager. She didn't seem to have much interest in fixing the situation, as she focused her attention on her cell phone text messages as we spoke. She said to me: "What do you want, an apology?" This establishment does not deserve your business. They cannot even perform the basic duties of a hotel like welcoming guests and honoring reservations. Stay somewhere else. Anywhere else. Don't let this happen to you too.

its not a bad place but i had to switch rooms once and the rooomi moved to , the bed felt like someone has sprinkled sand on the sheets ...so they changed my bedding at 1130PM. Otherwise no problem, wifi a little finicky

La ubicación y cercanía a la zona centro, el desayuno bastante aceptable para estar incluido en el costo. No me gustó que habían cucarachas en el baño, aunque me aseguraron que fumigan cada semana. No me gustó que no me pude conectar al internet y si lo hacía, el celular lo tenía que estar pegado a la puerta. Demasiados puntos de hoy spot, en lugar de centralizar con una sola contraseña. No me gustó que el auto estuvo todo el tiempo a la intemperie y que qlnenteegarlo estaba lleno de hojas de árbol. No me gusta la actitud y prepotencia de las personas que están en recepción, a pesar de las molestias mencionadas. Deben aprender a atender al cliente como lo hace el valet parking.

Falta de limpieza y utencilios viejos y sucios
Las almohadas estaban sucias y llenas de pelos, al igual que la sabanas de la cama, el piso del cuarto estaba sucio y lleno de pelos de la persona anterior muy evidente, baño sucio con pelos y basura y humedad en las paredes, muy mala experiencia, nos proporcionaron cubiertas de almohadas nuevas pero tuvimos que cambiarlas nocotros no habia personal, las toallas viejas y percudidas muy mala experiencia con este hotel.

Llegamos a la habitación pero no abrimos la cama hasta la hora de dormir. Encontré las sábanas sucias con quién sabe y pelos. Perdiendo cambio demoró el staff una hora para entregar nuevas. Internet prometido no llegó a la habitación y tuve que salir para acceso. Pedimos aseo de la habitación. La camarista ni barrió el cuarto y no limpió el lavabo. No voy a volver a este hotel ni lo recomiendo.
