"Friendly welcome and efficient check in. Suite and hotel are immaculately clean. The style of the lounge and bedroom is different (mix of colours and patterns has the feel of 1974 :)). However all items were new and in perfect condition. Bathroom is modern, fully equipped (loo bidet, bath and separate shower ) It seems to be a conference /event venue. 15 to 20 minute stroll into the town centre. Would recommend I will return next time I am in Torun"

"The hotel is desperately in need of refurbishment. Reception staff both at check in and check out were not friendly. Arrival was greeted with "yes"? And no how was you stay at check out, just "ok bye". I had a superior room,not sure what made it superior, it was small, the bed was quite hard, the bathroom was tiny the floor was soaked by the shower,looked intentional as it was wet room style. "This is one of the most beautiful hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The only issue is no lift to that floor but the desk clerk was very willing to help with our bags. The room was very comfortable, cool to my standards(being an American) and the village of Torun is absolutely charming. I throughly enjoyed my visit there and intend to return to both the village and hotel."

"I cannot over-emphasize how unique the top level apartment is. You won't find anything like this in a typical hotel in Poland. You get an amazing view of the square, plus a large sitting area, and a well equipped kitchen. The furniture in the apartment is exquisite, and are of a quality you would put in your own home. "Clean room however no A/C and was very hot in July. Also extremely loud at night as it seemed as though this hotel is situated right next to the only patio that is open late in Torun so we heard the noise most of the night. Bed was also not very comfortable. Breakfast looked a little sad for 49pln so opted for something else. Would look elsewhere next time. Location however was great."
