"Super cool hotel right in the heart of Birmingham. If you’re tired of the same crowded “standard” hotel experience, this place is a refreshing change. No packed lobby, long front desk lines, or chaos — just a smooth, modern virtual check-in experience from start to finish. The hotel itself felt brand new or newly remodeled, and everything was clean, stylish, and thoughtfully done. Great location, unique atmosphere, and overall just a really easy and enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here...

"Easy walk to The Helen for dinner. I highly recommend both establishments!!"

"Their card machine used to make keys for rooms was broken for multiple days and I had to be escorted to my room every time I needed access. Sometimes I waited at my door for over 10 min for security/maintenance to arrive to let me in. Zero amenities or compensation offered for the significant inconvenience. "

"It is a historic hotel, when I asked the associate about it when we were checking in, she pointed to a picture/poster on a wall and said we could read about it there. The included breakfast was subpar and rather sad, even the coffee and juice. The air conditioning fluctuated in both rooms on our reservation."

"Everyone at the hotel was wonderful. Staff was great. We stayed multiple days and housekeeping could’ve been a little bit better and it stunk that the food had to come from the Sheraton. I believe the hotel here was under repair. Will definitely book again."

"They are doing a lot of construction around hotel right now, so if you're sensitive to sounds starting at 5am then I suggest stay elsewhere until they finish."

"I stayed for 1 night. There is charge for parking $20 per night. The restaurant closes at 10pm.The room was clean."

"When booking the public parking option was not clearly stated. If you don’t use the Valet option you are left to use public parking…that is all the website has to say or indicate and not show a price which infers that they offer valet and public spaces. Also, the walk from the garage in combination with the location of the room elevators make this location nothing short of a chore to access and maneuver."

"Just stayed to sleep. Floor was dirty. Sheets were dirty (or stained), pillows looked old and nasty. Beds were not comfortable. Every time my husband made the slightest move the whole bed shook. It was a very noisy place to stay. Not to the fault of the hotel though. You could just hear very loud vehicle or motorcycle very clearly off the highway. Was a non smoking room but smelled like smoke. We did not get a good nights sleep."

"The staff was wonderful!!! Very helpful and hard working! The hotel itself is old, and the decor is a little weird, with a lot of pics of vials and pharmacy related things. Just a bit strange. The room was great, but just an old property."
