"Everything is new, and it's mostly wonderful. That said, whomever planned the lighting switches and electrical needs some practical education. WHY is the shower light in with the toilet and nowhere near the shower itself? There are just some NUTTY lighting switch and electrical configurations. Once you figure them out, it's OK, but seriously. And the super nice in-bathroom steam bath is great -- but NEVER accidentally run it with the door ajar. "Only reason for stopping at 4 stars is the fact that the hotel does not have an elevator to access the 3-4 stories of the hotel. I am in a wheelchair and that caused a pretty big problem for me. Luckily I can walk for a short distance, so I was able to make it to our room in a few phases. Room, view, dining room, pool all spectacular. Best breakfast buffet in years!!!"

"Wonderful hotel with fantastic views of the beach and the sea. Book a room with balcony and sea view. It’s definitely worth the extra cost. Only one armchair in the room though but two on the balcony. Most amazing hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Great stay for a weekend by the sea. "

"Old place and the House is worn out. Bad food in the only restaurant that was open (during off season things are low, and we had to drive 15 km to another city to find a decent restaurant). The open facilities where good and so was the service."

"Excellent, quite location directly on the Ostsee beach. Vacation apartments are roomy and clean; some with water view. Great restaurant/food. Easy and free parking. Washer and dryer available. Highly recommended "

"Lovely hotel. Only disconnect we experienced is the fact that we initially received most likely the worst room in the entire hotel. After double checking my reservation, I asked the front desk to check my reservation and sure enough, I was moved to one of the nicer rooms. That should not happen in the hear 2023! "
